I was looking for a keyed doorknob specifically for an interior door. I wanted to be able to lock a cabinet/storage area when we have guests, particularly since we keep cleaning products and other things in there that we don't necessarily want accessible. At the same time, I didn't want something that looked overly utilitarian or like an exterior entry lock had been awkwardly installed inside the house.This ended up being a great choice. It is beautiful, and the decorative trim gives it enough character to make it look intentional. I actually like that the keyed lock also makes it fairly apparent that this particular door isn't intended for general guest access.The knob itself feels solid and heavy-duty, and everything functions as it should. It gives me the ability to securely lock an interior space with a key while still looking attractive and appropriate with the rest of the house.

I really like this door knob. It has just the right amount of rustic and looks great on my front door. The base is just large enough to hide the marks where the old door knob rubbed the stain off the door.The keys slide into the keyhole nicely and unlocks the door knob with ease.As I said, I really like it... I expect it to last at least ten years.

This is a really nice keyed entry door handle that we plan to use in the upcoming renovation of the fixer-upper we are just closing on. We are completely gutting the property and will likely be buying all new doors, but the plan for this specific handle is to use it on the door between the garage and the house. I like the camelot trim design, adds a bit more sophisticated look.As far as being a door knob, it fits and works as expected.I have interior/exterior door handles made by the brand Callan. It feels sturdy and got some weight to it. This knob doesn't quite compare to that brand, but it's also cheaper priced. It's sturdy enough and has a good weight. What I mean by "weight" is like how some knobs feels like it's just a hallow shell. Versus a higher quality knob that feels like your grabbing solid hunk of metal. This NCSEN knob is in between.My only issue was the door latch plate. It's even shown in the product page photos. It looks like there's a clear wrap on it. Like what manufacturers put on to prevent scratches. I thought that's what it was, but it's more like it's supposed to be there. Since I already made the mistake of taking it off, I removed it completely.Overall, it's a good knob.

Installation took some extra effort because while my door hole was in the middle of the suggested lengths, the actual inside hardware was long enough to hit the back of the hole. The three included keys all operated smoothly without sticking or requiring excessive force. Installation should be relatively simple for someone familiar with door hardware, but I’d pay close attention to the measurements because a small difference can turn installation into extra work.Overall, I’m happy with the finished appearance and operation. Just don’t rely solely on the template—verify the measurements against the actual hardware before drilling.

Its definitely heavy duty enough to be used on an entry door, but modern enough, that it could be used indoors as well.The set comes with 3 keys, that all fit and operate the locking mechanism, to unlock or lock.The interior side of the lock functions as expected, locking and unlock with ease.Installation was straight forward.They do include instructions, and a pattern for new doors.The included screws and scratch plate match nicely.All in all I find this NCSEN antique brass door knob a valid choice. It feels durable, and strong. Comes with 3 keys, functions propely and looks great

I specifically needed a locking knob so I can secure my office when it's not in use to keep my kid out, and this does the job perfectly.
