The Desk Bag Hook is a heavy-duty and sturdily constructed accessory, with an 80-pound capacity. While it is well-made, it lacks the versatility to accommodate a wide variety of desk designs, as it ultimately failed to fit my desk type. This is not a flaw in the manufacturing quality, but it does serve as an important reminder to carefully measure your desk's thickness before purchasing to ensure compatibility. As long as your desk or other type of surface falls within the manufacturer's specified dimensions, it functions as a strong organizer, but verifying your measurements beforehand is essential to avoid fit issues.

If you have ever wanted to hang something like a headphone, purse, grocery bag, water bottle or anything else, this is just what you need. It is a bar that will mount to a thin tabletop (up to 1-3/8”) using a built in c-clamp. The hanger bar measures 10.4 inches long and is constructed of strong powder coated steel and can support up to an incredible 80 pounds. The bar features 2 hanger loops and a round stopper ball at each end to prevent items like headphones or a purse loop from accidentally sliding off the bar.The bar worked perfectly to support my headphones under a thin table. Probably the biggest issue with this bar is finding a table or shelf that is thin enough to accept the c-clamp mount. Overall, this is a reasonable priced, useful and super strong under table hanger that could even work as an attachment to a pantry or portable wire steel shelf.

This is such a simple product, but it’s incredibly useful if you’re trying to keep your workspace organized. Instead of leaving a purse or backpack on the floor, this gives you a dedicated place underneath your desk for bags, headphones, a water bottle, or other items.I really like the clamp design because you don’t have to drill into or permanently alter the desk. The silicone padding is also important because it helps protect the desk surface while keeping the clamp secure. The long bar and multiple hanging points make this much more useful than the small single purse hooks I’ve seen. At $18.99, I think it’s worth it if you regularly carry a purse, backpack, headphones, or work bag and want to keep everything off the floor but still within reach.

I work in a shared nursing office, so space is tight and I have to get creative about where things go. This clamp-on hook has been a good solution for keeping bags off the floor and off the desktop.I put it through a real stress test: my Scout bag with my purse and some jeans I need to return inside, then an empty Pyrex dish on top of that, then my laptop bag with the laptop still in it (that thing is HEAVY). The clamp and hooks didn’t budge through any of it. For a shared workspace where I don’t want to be readjusting a hook every day, that kind of stability matters. The C-clamp mount fits desktops up to 1.57 inches thick and comes with two soft grippy stickers to place between the clamp and the desk. They protect the surface from scratches, and as a bonus they also improve the grip once tightened. The four hanging points on the 10.43 inch bar don’t really give enough room to spread out a bag, a purse, and smaller accessories like headphones or a water bottle, but it works for what I need. The one drawback: tightening the clamp down securely is tougher than it should be by hand. A wrench would make this much easier, and I’d consider including one a smart addition for future versions.

This works. But it is not as functional as I had hoped. It can hold some of the daily items that we keep handy. But it does not hold all of them. The hooks and bar are just a bit too big for some items. I think it’s good quality. But the finish is not completely durable. This got knocked off the counter when we were testing it out in different locations. The black finish chipped off of the corners of the metal edge. This is not too obvious. I could touch it up with some paint. The tightening screw functions, and it can get tight. But if you are not strong then you may struggle to fix this in place once you determine the perfect place. I feel like this would be more functional if I had a high shelf and wanted to hang items higher. When this is on a counter though, it needs space so you are not bumping it and bruising your leg all the time. Also this is not good for young children. They would be tempted to yank this off, or hang from it. I like the set and how it is designed. I think this could be great place to hang lunch bags.

I like to use this desk bag hook to hold my backpack, lunch bag, and my purse at my desk at work. It’s invaluable for keeping all my stuff contained in one place (and not on the floor or om top of my desk). This desk bag hook/holder is really solid. It’s made out of metal, and screws together tightly to stay attached to the desk. It comes with some padded stickers to put between the desk and the holder - so that you can screw it tightly and it won’t damage your desk. This was easy to to put together and install on the desk. It comes with instructions, but it’s pretty intuitive. This is pretty heavy-duty and can take quite a bit of weight, and this feels like it will last forever.

ordered this hook/holder primarily to keep my headphones off my desk and safely out of the way. The item arrived slightly disassembled, with the screw and cap needing to be inserted, but it was very easy to put together and attach to the bookshelf above my computer monitors.I like the black paint/coating on the holder, and once the screw is tightened down, it feels very secure. It also comes with anti-slip rubber pads, which I recommend using since they help keep the holder from moving and protect the wood shelf. The metal welds appear to be well done, and the holder feels very solid once installed. Based on the limited testing I've done, I suspect it could probably support my 200 lbs. body weight if I actually tried it. I'm certainly not going to test that, though — I'm more concerned that I'd pull the bookshelf off the wall before I managed to break the holder!Overall: A simple, solidly built holder that works very well for keeping my headphones off the desk. It's easy to install, feels very secure, and the included anti-slip pads are a nice addition.

The Desk Bag Hook is a clever solution for keeping your workspace tidy. I really like the concept. You clamp it to the end of your desk and instantly have a sturdy place to hang a purse, backpack, or accessories without cluttering your work surface. The 10.43 inch powder coated metal bar feels strong and durable, and the silicone padded C clamp is designed to protect the desk while holding up to 80 lbs.In my case, I wasn’t able to use it on my main desk because the clamp didn’t open wide enough and my desk doesn’t have an overhang. Even so, the build quality is good enough that I’ll use it somewhere else. Considering the materials and functionality, the price is fair. I recommend it.
