Tasttin 3/8-16 threaded adjustable leveling feet 8 pack are solid metal and bolts and I like how it has a felt base to avoid marring up any hardwood floors. These are perfect for a project that I am working on and refinishing a coffee table drawer, and these will be the finishing touch. Because the old hardwood floors are somewhat uneven in spots. Nothing is more annoying than a wobbly table or cabinet on an uneven floor, and this 8-pack of heavy-duty leveling feet solved that problem completely for me.Right out of the box, I was impressed by the solid build quality. The 3/8-16 coarse threaded steel shafts are thick, cleanly machined, and thread smoothly without binding or stripping under heavy load. The set comes complete with pronged T-nuts, so installing them into wooden furniture legs took me just a couple of minutes with a drill and hammer.What I really appreciate is the wide 1.4-inch base fitted with thick, high-density felt pads. It gives a stable footprint, protects hardwood and tile floors from scratches, and lets me slide heavy furniture around effortlessly without harsh scraping noises. With an adjustable height range of 1 to 2 inches, I was able to dial in each corner until the piece was rock-solid and level. These Tasttin 3/8-16 threaded leveling feet are well made excellent quality materials construction.I ordered these to replace the plastic feet under my HEAVY 1979 solid wood buffet&hutch, after changing the floor from Berber carpet to laminate wood flooring.Straight forward simple installation> lay down on the side then remove the threaded feet along with the inserts prying out with a flat blade.Drill a 3/8" hole deep enough to accept the entire bolt, then drill a 1/2" hole deep enough to install the threaded insert hammered in flush.Huge difference after replacing the original 1/4" bolt feet under my HEAVY china cabinet making it easier to level & slide around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
