This does have a pretty strong smell when you first open it, so that’s something to be aware of. Thankfully, that wasn’t a dealbreaker for me because it seems to be doing a really good job at what I bought it for.Our house has settled over the years, and we have a few doors that don’t quite line up anymore, leaving some annoying gaps. This weather stripping has worked really well for closing those gaps and seems to be sticking securely so far. Even with this insane Georgia heatwave, it hasn’t started peeling up, which is a big plus.I also really like that you can cut it to whatever length you need. One size definitely does not fit all when it comes to doors and windows, so being able to customize the length makes installation much easier.Overall, it works as advertised and seems to be holding up well. Just be prepared for the initial smell, and give it some time to air out.

My patio screen door in my apartment has a wide gap at the bottom and doesn’t close all the way which allows mosquitos and bugs to fly in, something I’m not happy about. I leave My balcony open often for the breeze so i needed some type of seal to close the gap. This silicone strap is doing a great job at blocking that gap. It applied easily and is staying strong despite constant opening and closing of my door. I noticed less bugs as a result. It’s flexible and appears durable. I was Able to easily cut it for the size i needed.

My back door has a serious gap problem. I've tried a couple weatherstrip options from local hardware stores but the adhesive never kept them attached for longer than a month or two. This has adhesive on two sides which keeps it far more secured than the others I've tried. It does a great job of keeping drafts from coming in or going out. The color matches my interior paint and it blends in well. The material is strong but also flexible enough to seal properly. Installing is a snap and I only recommend that you thoroughly clean the surfaces of the door where the adhesive tape will go.

We recently got a new puppy who completely chewed up the weatherstripping on our back door, so I picked this up as a replacement. I installed it along the inside of the door to seal the gap, and it's worked really well. It was easy to apply, and after about a month, it hasn't peeled up or shifted at all. The adhesive has held strong through everyday use. I did clean the door really well before I applied the tape, which helps with adhesion.It worked so well on our back door that I plan to use it on the rest of the exterior doors in our house to help keep the hot and cold air from coming through. It's been a simple upgrade that's made a noticeable difference.

While the stripping does exactly as described and as intended, the material itself smelled toxic and gave me a headache as soon as I opened it. I had to air it out in my backyard for 72 hours before I could even go near it and even then it was still pretty potent, hence the subtraction of 1 star, it in no way impedes the function or use of the stripping.Our front door was kicked down in a home invasion a few years ago and it's never sat quite the same after that, we've had contractors come out and try to fix it bac up but it's still just off, so normal weather stripping inside the frame was not working. This stripping adheres to the door itself for us and it works perfectly!! It allows us to keep the summer heat out and will help keep the winter cold where it belongs also!I recommend measuring exactly how much you'll need, lay it out somewhere warm or put something down on it to help straighten it out. The carefully remove the protective coating from the adhesive at the same time as you mount it. This is very very sticky and will pull paint/coating off if you need to remove it quickly so just take it slow and remove the cover as you place it on the door.Great stripping and I highly recommend it. Just air it out first.

This weather stripping feels sturdy and is easy to install. It unrolls nicely and stays flat instead of constantly curling back up, which makes installation much less frustrating. The adhesive seems strong and sticks well right away. My only hesitation is that the silicone feels a little more rigid than I expected, so I’m curious to see how it holds up and seals over time. Overall, it seems like a quality product and I’m hopeful it’ll last well.

This weather stripping was easy to install and made a noticeable difference right away. It seals gaps well, helps keep out drafts and outside noise, and the adhesive sticks securely. Great quality for the price and exactly what I needed!
