Item: SK Unisex Heavy-impact Touchscreen Work GlovesReview: Very impressed with the quality of these gloves! They fit perfectly, are comfortable, and very ergonomic especially considering the amount of protection they offer. I can certainly see these saving my knuckles in the future! The question is, will I remember to put them on before it's too late! Highly recommend!

These gloves are some major hand armor!I have fairly large hands and the XL size fit me well. See pics, they measure about 8 inches from where your hand meets your wrist to the tip of the middle finger. The finger size is snug enough to be able to work without them moving around. The armor on them makes me think I could punch through a wall and not hurt my hand. These are gonna be my go to glove for running the chainsaw. The fit and finish is well done. The stitching appears strong and the materials are well thought out. You get medium thick leather for the palm and then a cordura type of fabric for the back of the hand tp make it breathable.Velcro at the wrist helps to keep them in place. These are on the higher end of the price range but for the money you get a long lasting well built glove, not a throw away. These would also make a great motocross dirtbike glove and look cool doing it. If you know how much a branch hitting your hand stings from experience then you can be confident these gloves would deflect it well. I am probably going to buy another 2 sets as Christmas presents for my brother and nephew who are big into riding dirtbikes in the woods.

I could almost fill a decent-sized toolbox with the SK tools I've bought and received to review by now. The quality is always there, and they are priced at a point that lets amateur and home mechanics afford gear that will last long enough to get handed down to the next generation. I would highly recommend SK tools based on my continued positive experience with both their quality and price, and these impact-resistant gloves are certainly no exception. These gloves have become a go-to and a literal lifesaver for me. As a middle-aged guy with a hand condition where I can no longer afford any kind of injuries (I get crazy scar tissue if it happens), these are letting me continue the hobbies I love while heavily protecting my hands. They fit perfectly and are incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods. The breathable mesh fabric keeps my hands cool during long workdays, and the terry cloth sweat wipe on the thumb is incredibly handy when you're working up a sweat. They replaced a pair that was half the price but a quarter of the quality. After just one afternoon working with the cheapies, some of the rubber guards fell off. In contrast, the stitched-on TPR protective pads and shock-absorbing SBR palm on these SK gloves are the real deal. I've already tackled heavy rock-landscaping projects, brake jobs, and light under-the-hood mechanic work without a single battle scar on the gloves, or more importantly, on my hands. They successfully buffer heavy blows and pinches, while the synthetic leather palm gives a really secure grip.Add in the integrated 3-finger touchscreen capability (so I don't have to constantly pull them off to use my phone) and a convenient pull tab, and you've got a winner. If you need to protect your hands on demanding jobs, you'll definitely want to get your paws on these.

This is my third pair of SK gloves I've ordered. All three were very well made. Sizing is one issue I have with these. My hands fall on the large end of the large sizing, so I ordered one pair in large and one pair in XL to test them out. They were nearly identical in size. I'm convinced there's no actual difference between size large and size XL. If you have XL or Medium/Small hands neither the large nor XL will fit you. I sure hope that was an issue with their supplier and they plan on fixing that. I posted a picture of their non impact gloves in both sizes head to head to demonstrate what I mean. The ones on the left are XL, they're maybe a hair larger... but that was after I spent two weeks ripping out raspberries with them so they had time to stretch. The ones on the right are brand new. I was lucky enough that both sizes fit me perfectly. Maybe a little tight but that's how I like my gloves.Overall the quality is fantastic. The green/black/white SK logo is easily my favorite brand logo and color combination maybe anywhere. They're fantastic looking gloves. These gloves have a nice thick padding to them and the stitching holds up well. As I said before, I wore the other gloves ripping out raspberries for 2 weeks. Raspberries have thorns and are notorious for tearing up gloves and hands. These gloves are identical to those ones except these have impact resistant knuckle guards. The rubber knuckle guards are fairly low profile and flexible. I barely even notice they are there. They also do a great job protecting my hand from impacts and the padding helps reduce vibrations when using impact drivers or weedeaters. They have a strap at the wrist that tightens well to keep debris from getting into my gloves and touch screen functional fingers.I'm very happy with these gloves, but these are an absolutely terrible value at $80. Similar gloves are a quarter the price. Hopefully they reduce the price to make them a better value because I really would love to continue buying these gloves in the future. I just can't justify it or recommend it at that rate though. I'm rating it 4 stars based on the quality alone, with a star taken off for the sizing issues. If these become reasonably priced and they fix the sizing they will be the perfect gloves for handyman and mechanics work.

These gloves have a solid, protective feel and the reinforced areas give much better coverage than basic work gloves without making them excessively bulky. The touchscreen capability is also convenient when I need to check my phone without constantly taking a glove off. My main issue is sizing. I ordered an XL and they fit noticeably smaller and tighter than I expected for that size. The quality itself seems good, but I would consider sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer a little extra room in your work gloves.

I work a lot on things that will tear up your hands. From outdoor work, to working on cars, to woodworking, my hands can take a real beating. I've used a lot of different gloves over the years and some have worked ok, and some have been disastrous. These gloves are, dare I say it.. perfect. I would caution you that they run a little small though. I got the large size and I generally prefer medium because I don't want any play in my gloves, and these fit perfectly. The gloves are extremely well made. The rubber components provide great protection against bumps, scrapes, and cuts. The stitching is exceptional, and the fingers work great at allowing you to manipulate your phone or tablet by touch. One of my personal favorite things is the wrist strap. A lot of times when you get large size gloves, and you have small wrist like I do, the strap is way too big and barely locks down. This one is perfect and has plenty of contact for the Velcro.Overall, gives the strength, the dexterity, and the quality of these gloves, I would put these in the must have category. Just be aware of the sizing and order appropriately.

I feel like I could punch through a wall with these on, juggernaut smash! These gloves are absolute beasts. I was working on an AC compressor and had a heavy compressor fall directly onto my hand. I honestly expected to feel that one big time but the impact protection did its job and I didnt feel the kind of pain I was expecting. Obviously no glove makes your hand invincible, but these gave me a whole lot more protection than a regular pair of work glovesThe fit is really good and the adjustable wrist keeps them secure without feeling like my hands are trapped. The padding on the back of the hand and fingers gives them a serious heavy duty feel while the palm still lets me grab tools and parts without feeling like Im wearing oven mitts. Theyre built for actual work and not just looking tough sitting in a toolboxThe grip has also been solid for working around the garage. The palm padding helps with vibration and the reinforced material feels like it can take some abuse. I like the little details too, especially the pull tab for getting them on and the sweat wiping area on the thumb because those small things actually come in handy during a long jobThe touchscreen fingertips are another nice feature because I dont have to keep pulling the gloves off every time I need to check my phone or look something up. Thats especially handy when your hands are dirty and you dont want to smear grease all over your screen. They also breathe better than I expected for such heavily protected glovesFor the money these feel like a serious upgrade over basic work gloves, especially if youre doing automotive or heavy mechanical work where things have a tendency to fall, pinch and generally try to ruin your day. After that AC compressor incident, Im keeping these close... my hands apparently needed their own body armor

These hefty gloves are comfortable and feature robust padding on the topside to protect your hands. Similar to Honeywell Rig Dog gloves that are about 3X the price of these, so a great value for such a robust work glove.Overall I like them, although like their other gloves they run quite small. The XL I ordered fits more like a small L or even a Medium. If you have large hands these are unlikely to fit.
