Work just as well as the more expensive filters

[Number of Items: 32]
I've had a pet fountain for my cats for almost as long as I have owned them. (about a year and a half). The first fountain had totally different filters that were very expensive, so I got rid of it and bought a different one that had less expensive filters to replace and was MUCH easier to clean! (long story). Even though the filters were less expensive, they still got costly and it was recommended to change them every 2 weeks.I came across these replacement filters and thought I'd give them a try. The activated carbon filters aren't in plastic like my other ones, but they're about the same size and seem to do the trick just as well. I've been using these filters for a while now and am quite happy with them. They seem to be keeping the water clean and the cats haven't complained.I'm a little leery about using them for 4 weeks, so far, I still change them every 2 weeks, but I plan on extending that to 3 weeks and see how they look after that length of time. You get 16 changes of filters with this package, and for the price, I feel that you're getting a good deal. Two thumbs up for me!

I wash and change out my dog’s fountain filters weekly and the replacements can get expensive if I buy them from the manufacturer of the fountain I have. This 32 pack is an EXCELLENT value for the exact same thing!! I just have to cut the foam squares to fit but that’s no big deal. Keeps me and my dogs happy knowing their water is always fresh!

Value filters

I change out the filters for my cat fountain every 2-3 weeks. The white filter cartridges are similar in size to the original filters I've used. The activated carbon inside fills about 3/4 of the space in each filter cartridge. The sponge filter on the other hand is slightly shallower, and the material is not as dense as other filters that I've used. I would consider them as value filters. Certainly not at the same level as the originals but they fit the water fountain.

Good filters that work well

I have a fountain for my two cats and one for my very large dog. It's so funny because the dog fountain is much larger, of course, than the one for the cats, but my dog decided the smaller one was going to be hers. As a result, the cats get their drinks from the very large fountain. What can I say about my backwards animals. It's not a problem, but I have to refill the small one very often. When my dog goes out to potty, she does all kinds of rolling in things and running around, so she comes back in with half the back yard hanging off her hair. She can get dirty faster than any dog I've had. When she comes in, she immediately drinks from her fountain. Needless to say, her fountain gets dirty very quickly. That works the filters very hard. The worst thing about these fountains is the expense of replacing the filters. I clean the bowl and wash the filters every 3 or 4 days. Then, when the filters look awful, I replace them.I can't find the brand name anywhere on the fountain and the box was thrown away years ago. I have no reference for which filters I need to buy, so I simply look at the shape and size of the filters to order new ones. When I saw these filters, I knew they would be the perfect fit. They are. These filters are basically just like the filters that came with the fountain. They fit perfectly and are the same good quality as the originals. So far, they have worked just fine filtering the dirt out of her water. The best way to tell if they're working well or not is to examine the filter that you are removing and replacing. If it's full of dirt and slimy stuff, you know it's performing perfectly. These filters are performing well and catching a whole bunch of dirt. One helpful fact about these is to be sure and soak them (the white ones) a few minutes before putting them in the fountain. If you don't do that you will have charcoal dust, etc., in the water. So be sure and soak/wash it well before you place it in the fountain. These filters are just as good as the originals and are keeping the dog's water clean. They aren't overly expensive, but I think they should cost less. All of them, of all brands seem expensive to me. Overall, I think these are good filters and I recommend.

I got a Tomxcute pet water fountain from a friend and needed more filters. As far as I can see, these look just like the manufacturer's filters. They're very simple, and they actually include instructions on how each filter is supposed to be positioned. I was never sure, because Tomxcute never provided directions. So far, the filters keep the water pretty clean like the original and definitely way better than not using filters at all. Note that the description says 32-pack, but that's pieces, not sets of filters. There's only 16 SETS of filters. I normally use each filter for about a month, but I clean the fountain weekly and gently cleanse the filters before putting them back on to extend their usefulness. It's worked fine for my pets, and they drink a lot of water.
