I really like this checkered contact paper! The retro pattern is super cute and gives whatever you’re applying it to an instant makeover without having to spend a lot of money. The print is clear and the checkered design looks great in person.The adhesive works well, and it was fairly easy to apply as long as I took my time lining up the pattern. I also liked that I could smooth out small bubbles while applying it. The material feels durable enough for DIY projects and furniture updates.I bought this for a DIY project, and it was exactly what I needed to give the piece a completely different look. It’s such an easy and affordable way to update furniture, shelves, cabinets, or other surfaces. Definitely happy with it and would get it again!

I ordered the CiCiwind Checkered Floral Black Cream Peel and Stick Wallpaper 17.3" x 197".I do endless art projects especially transforming boring or ugly furniture into something eclectic and neat. Even when I like my furniture, I tend to find fun patterns to change the top piece. Even plain black furniture can look better with a textured looking black pattern on the top.This looks like the pictures and seems to be decent quality. It's thinner, but It didn't seem to rip easily and was very forgiving when working with it. I put this on top of a coffee table as well as a small stool.I had to pull it up and put it back down multiple times due to the wrong placement, and it handled it fine. I also stuck a few pieces to themselves a few times with both adhesive sides, and I was able to carefully and slowly pull them apart without ripping it.What I did with the coffee table was first place one huge strip down the exact middle. I used a squeegee to press out the bubbles, but I can usually do that with my hand. Because the pattern is really easy to match, then I just cut strips and overlapped them to match the pattern at the edge since there was about an inch worth of wood still showing on the edges. Then I went around the entire table with an X-Acto knife and cut off all the edges so it's perfect. I couldn't imagine trying to measure and use scissors to do this since that knife makes edges look perfect.The little table was a little more difficult to try to get the pattern perfectly centered. I ended up cutting a square piece (using the grid on the back for precision) then turning it upside down so I could flip the stool over and place it over the adhesive side up. I had to remove it and put it back on a few times and then I finally gave up because it was close enough (but not perfect) so all the sides were somewhat balanced and centered. I used the X-Acto knife again for the edges, but that was a little more difficult since there were a lot of short corners and edges.Since this is an early review, I can't speak about longevity until longevity has reached, but I will come back and update since this is my everyday furniture. In my experience, you have to be careful with this with scratches since it's paper if you are going to use it like I have. You could be an overachiever and put a clear coat of gloss over it or clear resin. Since I have more than enough in this roll, I'm not worried about it if something happens. It also allows me to change it up to something else when I want to change the vibe. I also want to make sure it doesn't curl up. I know certain surfaces that are glossy or textured aren't the best for this type of situation especially if you are putting it on walls, so make sure you are not setting yourself up to fail.Overall, I don't have any complaints, and I love this print, thank you.

I used this contact paper as a shelf liners and I'm so happy with how clean and classic they look. It was easy to size, cut, and place and the quality of the paper is great. It's thick and easy to wipe down without fear of peeling or damage. Best of all, it fits well with any vintage or retro-style kitchen. Context/use:I used this peel and stick wallpaper to cover the drawer faces on an old dresser that has definitely had better days. I wanted something that would give it a little personality and make it feel intentional again instead of just old and tired. Between this contact paper and replacing the hardware, the dresser honestly looks like a totally different piece now.Pros:I really love the balance of the material. It is thin enough that it is easy to work with, smooth around edges, and adjust during a project, but it still feels thick and sturdy enough to actually cover the surface underneath. The black and cream checkered floral pattern is adorable and has a vintage vibe without being too loud. It gave the dresser a fresh look while still fitting into a cozy, slightly earthy, floral style. It also seems like a great option for smaller projects like shelves, drawer fronts, cabinet panels, or accent areas where you want a big visual change without painting.Cons:As with most peel and stick wallpaper, patience matters.
