These are really pretty lampshades. They are shipped collapsed, and then you move bars into place which hold them straight upright. The only thing we don't really like about them is that the border makes them look pretty dated. In the pictures, they look great, but when you get them out, instead of looking vintage; they just look old. I'm not subtracting stars for it though; it might be a personal opinion thing. They're really nice lampshades, if this is the look you're going for.

I love the shape of these lamp shades, especially with the fringed bottom. They look like vintage shades which I happen to like. Both shades come in a box flattened and you have to move the metal arms inside up to form the shade into the proper shaped. This was very easy to do.It also comes with new pieces to attach to your lamp. I didn't have to use these to put on my lamp because the ones I have on my antique crystal lamps were fine. The only thing I didn't like is that the lamp shades don't allow any light through so what you see in the last photo that's the only part of the room that was lit up. These would work better in a room you don't need a lot of light in.I have purchased several lampshades in the past and for the size and style these are and you get 2, the price is great.
