Great little power inverterGreat little power inverter

This is a very useful little power inverter, especially if you already have DeWalt 20V batteries. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to use. Just attach a battery and you immediately have a regular 110V outlet, USB-A ports, and a USB-C port available.I especially like the built-in LED light. It makes this a handy device to keep in the garage, car, or toolbox and can be useful during a power outage or when working somewhere without easy access to an outlet. The 200W capacity is plenty for charging phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, and other small electronics. Obviously, it is not designed for high-powered appliances or tools, but for its intended purpose it works very well.Overall, this is a simple, practical accessory that makes DeWalt batteries even more useful.

Powerful and Convenient for the Car

I’m very happy with this power inverter. It’s a really convenient item to keep in the vehicle, especially when traveling or anytime you need to power or charge something that can’t run from a standard USB port alone. The 200W power output gives it a lot of versatility, and I really like having both an AC outlet and charging options available in one compact unit. It is simple to connect and use, and everything I have tried with it so far has worked exactly as expected. It also feels nicely made and much more substantial than some inexpensive car adapters I have used in the past.I especially like having this available for longer drives and unexpected situations. It doesn’t take up much room, so it can easily stay in the vehicle when I need it. Between the convenience, multiple charging options, and overall quality, I think this is a very useful accessory and a great value for the price.

Supplies rated load just fine, controls and indications a bit confusingSupplies rated load just f...

I didn't test this at higher ratings, but a test with the closest thing I had under 200w worked perfectly fine. And I like that most of the newer accessories also include the LED lights. It comes in handy having the extras during a power outage to light up the house. But the controls and indications on this are a bit annoying. There are the 2 expected buttons for the light and the power, but they don't work in a natural manner. Ideally, you just attach the battery then click the buttons to turn the lightt or power port on/off. But it doesn't work that way. First you have to click on the power button for either to wok. The AC port stays off at power first power on. Then you can use the light switch to turn on the LED and cycle thru the modes. But its a double click for on/off and single click to cycle thru. The other way would be more natural since I mostly just turn on and rarely need to change brightness. Similarly, you have to press the power switch a second time to actually turn on the AC power port. And the indicator lights don't help. The master power on light is next to the light button and there is a second AC power on light next to the power switch. The only indicator for the LED is the light itself. To make matters worse, the indicators are so bright and close that they both seem lit when only the master power light is on. Once the AC power on is "actually" on, it's just a bit brighter. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. For now, I'm still stumbling with the controls each time. But it all does work as promised. Quality is appropriate for the price, thinnish plastic so watch the impacts. Especially when the light is raised, the base where it rotates is pretty small.

20v power inverter

I really like this little inverter. I already have 20V batteries around, so being able to use one of those instead of buying a separate battery-powered power station is a huge plus. It’s compact but has a lot packed into it, including a 110V AC outlet, two USB-A ports, and a USB-C port. The built-in light is also really handy, especially when working in dark areas or during a power outage. I like that the light angle can be adjusted and that it has multiple brightness settings. It feels pretty solid and is small enough to throw in a toolbox or take camping. I’ve mainly used it for charging electronics and running smaller devices, and it’s been convenient to have around. Just keep in mind that this is a 200W inverter, so it’s meant for smaller electronics rather than high-power appliances.Overall, if you already have compatible 20V Dewalt batteries, this is a really useful little gadget to keep around for the garage, job site, camping, or emergencies.

Small light duty power inverter for phones, radios, flashlights and small lamps.Small light duty ...

This small power inverter works with DeWalt 20V batteries (not included). The inverter is rated at 200 watts. It has a built in LED light and a USB and USB c charging port. It is small, lightweight and versatile. It does not have an adaptor to use with an automobile. I hooked it up to a table lamp and it worked great. However, it’s too small to power electrical tools like circular saws and drills. They just barely respond. The same goes to a hair blow dryer. This inverter is best for lamps, charging phones and small non-heat generating items like flashlights and air pumps. It works well but is not a heavy duty tool. Powering large tools requires a much larger inverter or generator. This is something I will keep in my truck during hunting season to recharge phones, radios and flashlights.

Great little lightweight inverterGreat little lightweight inverter

I have a bunch of Dewalt batteries. This is a great little unit to have around. Even if it's for just during a power outage. Having it portable though to be able to run 110v items on the go is great. I know a lot of thing have gone lithium or portable, but for those items that you already own and want to use on the go this is a great solution.

Great for emergencies, camping, traveling etc!

This device has so many advantages and uses. I meant assuming you already have the Dewalt style batteries, this could be handy for emergency preparedness purposes, road trips to plug the kids a portable DVD player into, back up power for air pumps, breakdowns, etc. It has a light built into it, would be nice for camping trips too! It has so many useful features and conveniences. Granted, 200 watts wouldn’t power a coffee pot or hair dryer but it would charge phones, play small appliances and devices and probably do it for a while. We love that we were able to add this to our ‘bag of goodies’ and we think you will be too!

Turns my tool batteries into a mobile power station

[Color: yellow, Set name: DEWALT]
m a contractor and use this daily to charge my phone and run a small Bluetooth speaker at job sites with no power. USB-C PD charges my phone crazy fast — 15% to 60% in under half an hour. The temperature-controlled fan only kicks in under heavier loads and is quiet enough not to bother anyone. Simple, reliable, does exactly what I need.
