I chose this to go on my "she shed" and it really has exceeded my expectations in quality and design.This has 2 nice built in GFCI sockets so I can have easy access to outside electric.Since this is a rural area of Florida it is nice to have the motion sensors for light and it has either 100% brightness when motion is detected at nightveith 30% brightness the rest of the time,,,,or you can go with Eco mode that keeps the lights off at night, turning on at full brightness when motion is detected. You could also keep 100% brightness all night with auto turn off at dawn,,, or go with full brightness for all day. This is a very convenient and quality made porch light , made of quality 100% die-cast aluminum , with a black polished finish. It does have a nice rippled glass feature that's waterproof . This is at an ideal pricepoint for the quality and convenience.

This is such an impressive porch light. To start, it's nice a large. So many of the porch lights I've looked at over the last few weeks have been smaller than what I was looking for. I needed something a bit larger, to match the area it was going up at. This one is very full in size and puts out plenty of light.The glass used looks really good. It's not just a basic frosted glass. It has some texture to it and it doesn't block the light as much as typical frosted glass does. The way they've done the glass on this one, the light still shines through bright and clearly.The motion sensor works well in the light, and can be adjusted so that depending how close you are to it, will determine if it turns on or not.But what I really like is the built in outlets for power cords. This is huge for me, because we have just one outlet outside and it's in a pretty inconvenient location. My porch light however is right in the middle of the front of my house, and having this also now be a spot where I can plug my corded lawn tools and such into has been outstanding. I've never seen this feature in a porch light before and now that I have it, I never want to be without it. It works great and I'm really happy with it.

We replaced our old front porch light with this fixture, and it was a great upgrade. It has a clean, modern look that instantly made the front of the house look more updated. The textured glass gives it a nice touch, and the built-in GFCI outlet is surprisingly handy for holiday decorations, power tools, or anything else you need outside.The motion sensor works exactly as it should, and I like that you can adjust both the detection distance and the timing. All of the functions worked properly right out of the box, and everything has been reliable so far.Installation took a little more effort than expected, but nothing out of the ordinary if you're replacing an existing exterior light fixture. I have numerous Gleamz lights and prefer these over other ones duty to their functionality and warranties. This particular light has a built-in 2-plu GFCI outlet that can be used to power anything in the yard that needs power such as my smoker grill. The two outlets are not only weather protected from above, their sockets are downward facing to protect them from blowing rain and to keep them dry. It seems that with every new Gleamz light I get, they add a new, and very useful feature. In this case it's those downward-facing sockets. They're suitable for 2- and 3-prong outdoor equipment, and offer built-in protection against power surges, short circuits and electrical faults. They can be used to power lights, lawn mowers, grills and any other outdoor equipment that's within the amperage rating of the electrical circuit your light is wired on.Gleamz has upgraded the motion sensor in this model to 4 different working modes: DIM mode: 100% brightness when motion is detected at night, 30% brightness the rest of the time, ECO mode: Keeps the lights off at night, turning on at full 100% brightness when motion is detected, D2D Mode: Keeps 100% brightness all night and auto turn off at dawn and lastly ON Mode: 100% brightness for all day.
