A picture light is one of those small decorating details that can make artwork look instantly more important, and this one gives that effect without requiring hardwiring. I especially like the warm brass/gold finish and the long, clean cylindrical shape. It has a classic gallery-light appearance that works beautifully with both vintage and newer artwork. The adjustable arms let me position the light where I want it, and because it is plug-in, installation is much less intimidating than adding a permanent electrical fixture. The inline cord switch is also convenient. For anyone who wants to highlight a painting, print or gallery wall without opening up the wall for electrical work, this is a very attractive solution. It adds a polished, designer-looking finishing touch.
This light is huge!! And mislabeled. This is absolutely mot a picture light, unless your home is the size of an actual art museum! This is however, a gorgeous, heavy duty, high end looking bathroom light. Would look incredible mounted over a mirror and vanity combo. The gold color is classy and exquisite. The installation seems to be straightforward and simple, if you’ve done any basic home electrical work. We didn’t end up using it as intended. I ordered it to use as a picture light, one that plugged in, and didn’t need a battery, or charging, or easy to lose remote controls. I may use it to bring a touch of elegance to my master bath in the future though. I wanted to also mention that it would be a nice bright light, as it uses 3 bulbs.

This is a great looking picture light that will easily elevate any space. If you have high ceilings, one of this size is almost a much if you want to light the full wall and not just have a tiny spot light. I love that you can adjust the angle 270 degrees though one more angle bracket to further adjust the actual arm would have REALLY taken it to the next level. The brass is a nice warm brass that isn’t garish and I love the finish. Install was easy as could be, basically just needing two screws for basic install. My main gripe, that really takes this down unnecessarily is the cord coming out from the right side. Why wouldn’t it be put in the center?? Having it unbalanced just really detracts from an otherwise classy and sophisticated picture light. Now I’ll have to have a dummy ribbon on the left to accompany the cord ribbon that I typically use to hide the cords which feels silly when the cord should have been centered out the bottom.

Just what I needed for my picture made of glass! Earlier this year I got another BELS picture light to illuminate my picture that is made of glass, but it had two key issues: the fixture required mounting directly to an electric box on the wall and it was not wide enough or stick out enough to evenly illuminate my picture. I end up adding a box with cord so I could mount and use it for my picture, but it wasn't ideal - you can see what it looked like in the pictures. This light works perfectly. This one covers the whole width of the entire picture and sticks out far enough to evenly illuminate the picture with the same brightness (see pictures of the light). This one has sockets for 3 lights instead of 2. I still had 3 extra bulbs from the first install, but make sure you order bulbs when you buy the light as they don't come with it (this way you can buy the wattage and type of light you want). Since it doesn't require mounting to an electric box on the wall, it was also quick and easy to install. The appearance is similar to the original smaller light - the gold finish and design make it look stylish for illuminating the picture. One minor issue that's not enough to reduce the rating is the switch to turn the light on and off is about 6 inches from the end of the cord, so I have to go behind the bench where it's plugged in to turn it on. Would be much better to have it located a abut 18-24" below the fixture so the switch is easily accessible below the picture. The initial BELS light was well made, but this one really checked all the boxes!
These hardwired picture lights are excellent quality—well‑made, durable, and instantly add elegance and sophistication to the space. The design strikes a great balance between style and practicality, making them a strong value overall. They were very easy to install and have a high‑end, luxurious look once mounted. The plug‑in lamp looks beautiful over our painting and provides plenty of light. The wider band of illumination works perfectly for us, and the adjustable head keeps the light from shining directly in your face. The stepless dimming function performs smoothly, letting you fine‑tune the brightness. The gold finish matches our décor perfectly and gives just the right amount of warm, refined light. They’re the perfect lights for our new painting. The gallery‑style lighting above our oil pieces looks gorgeous and brings a cozy, elegant feel to the living room.

I installed the BELS 24-inch gold picture light to highlight a painting in my living room, and it’s done an excellent job. The warm gold finish adds a touch of elegance that complements the artwork beautifully. The setup was straightforward, and the 270° rotatable feature is super handy—I can adjust the light angle perfectly to avoid glare and highlight the details just right. The three E12 bulbs provide a nice, even illumination that really brings the painting to life without overpowering the room.I appreciate that it’s a plug-in model, which gave me flexibility with placement without needing complex wiring. It looks great above my artwork, and I’ve also considered getting another for a bedroom piece. If you want an easy way to showcase your art with adjustable, stylish lighting, this BELS picture light is a solid pick.
I've been updating the décor in one of the rooms in my house, and I wanted a better way to highlight a framed print instead of relying on the room's overhead lighting. This picture light seemed like it would give the wall a more finished appearance without turning the project into a major renovation.I chose the plug-in version because it was the easiest option for where I wanted to install it. Mounting it was straightforward, and after making a few adjustments to the swing arms I was able to direct the light exactly where I wanted it. The wider fixture does a nice job covering a larger piece of artwork instead of creating one bright spot. The biggest difference was how much it changed the room once everything was turned on. Instead of blending into the wall, the artwork immediately became something your eyes are drawn to. Even when the light isn't on, the brushed gold finish adds a nice decorative touch. The only part that took a little extra time was making sure everything was centered before tightening it down, but that's true with almost any wall-mounted fixture. If you've invested in artwork, family photos, or framed certificates, this is an easy way to make them stand out without overwhelming the space.
