I like the warmth and brightness of these, and that they turn on instantly.These are brighter than other 100w equivalents, well made (no weird imperfections), the color is slightly warmer than my other supposedly 3000k bulb, my subjective guess is that it's around 2800k (I have no way to actually measure the color temperature).At $15 for 6, it's a typical price for a decent bulb, though you can get cheaper on sale sometimes if you're not in a hurry.

These are standard sized lightbulbs with semispherical diffusion globes.They are rated at 14 Watts! I do not own a light meter, but if they produce the rated 1700 lumens they are absolutely equivalent to 100w incandescent bulbs.During my testing it was certainly noticeably brighter than a 9 watt LED bulb to the naked eye, and it dimmed evenly without flickering to as dim as the electronic LED rated dimmer for my family room light fixture would go.They are lightweight at 1.3 oz each bulb.I like these a lot and will be using them in the future.

I only just started using these bulbs, so I can't speak to their longevity. First impressions. They don't have any of the hallmarks of "cheap" led bulbs. They don't flicker. They turn on instantly. They dim smoothly.The individual bulbs are printed with the UL Listed logo. This gives me some peace of mind as to their safety.I don't have a good frame of reference as to color temperature. Most of the other bulbs in my house are 2700k, a very warm, yellowish light. These are advertised as 3000k. My family has a strong distaste for pure white "neutral" and especially dislikes blue spectrum "cool white" lighting. The color of these bulbs are acceptable to us, but still a little too blue. If I had to guess based on a color chart, they look more like 3500k to my untrained eye.As far as brightness, they definitely seem to give off more light than a 100w equivalent. They pull 14W, vs the 13W printed on some of my other bulbs. These are noticably brighter.

LED bulbs are great because they last such a long time and generate almost no heat compared to standard bulbs, but getting the right shade of light and comparable wattage can be a struggle. I like that these bulbs are dimmable, but they do not have the yellow cast that a typical warm bulb has.I put these in a vintage lamp in my office and took before and after photos. My existing bulb has a noticeable yellow cast to create that warm white look of an incandescent bulb, but these look much whites and more stark. This lamp doesn't dim, so this is the bulb at its brightest. Used in a lamp with dimming capabilities, I can make the light less bright, but it never has a yellow cast.These are bulbs, and I will use them, but they will go in the drawer with the other bulbs that aren't quite right and will be used in cases of a bulb shortage.
