This tarp is well made with clear thick PVC vinyl, doubled stitched edges with grommets, reinforced corners and an enclosed rope along the edge for added strength. Tarp is easily unfolded. One person can install, no problem. Since I am using this tarp to be permanently attached to the side of our Catio, I used screws with washers through the grommets along the top edge. Along the bottom I attached a 1” PVC pipe to the grommets. I now can roll up the tarp around the pipe. I used the included rope to make ties to secure the rolled up tarp.The vinyl is virtually unnoticeable from inside. It is very clear and lets the sunshine in while keeping the wind and rain out.By far this is one of the best tarps I have ever gotten.

This clear tarp feels thick, sturdy, and much more substantial than a basic plastic tarp. The reinforced edges and grommets feel well-made and make it easy to secure in place.I like that it’s clear while still providing waterproof protection, so it works well for outdoor areas where you want protection from the weather without completely blocking the light or view.Overall, good quality, durable, and great value for the price. It should work well for patios, outdoor or anywhere you need a heavier clear cover.

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this tarp, so when it arrived, I was very impressed with the thickness of the plastic. It is thick. It is so thick that it was difficult to unfold it to see how big it is. This tarp boasts that it is tear and puncture-resistant, and I believe it. It is very thick and strong.It is very clear and heavy-duty. I was very impressed with how heavy-duty the corner guards are. While the corner guards are very protected and strong, the edge grommets are not reinforced, but they probably don't need to be as strong.I did not get this for the intended use on a patio, but rather I got it to cover a piece of furniture I have in storage that I want to still be able to see through. It will be perfect for my intended use!The tarp comes with plastic braided rope that comes already strung along the edges through the grommet holes along the edges so you can tie them down. It also comes with some nylon cord and a pack of tie straps. The company made sure to include everything you would need for a quick and easy installation.

The first thing to hit me when I opened the package was a strong petroleum smell. I have returned products for this reason alone. Some products will never lose that smell and sometimes it can get on your hands. It can also smell up the area were you are storing it.At 14 Mil it is heavy duty. The corners are reinforced and there is rope around the whole edge, but sealed in plastic. It makes it easy to grab onto the edges. It has grommets spaced all around the edges like you would expect on a tarp. It is clear so it can protect from rain and wind and still let light through. It also comes with zip ties and rope for securing the tarp however you need to. It is definitely water proof. It appears to be very well constructed and should last a long time in tarp years. It is a good value for the thickness and for being clear. It is a good product if it could be made out of vinyl that did not stink.

I have another tarp but this one is actually pretty cool because it's clear. We have a small cover in the back yard so when we entertain the wind and rain will not get to us but yet we will be able to enjoy the scenery. I am thinking the possibilities of a clear tarp. This also gas grommets and it inclu8des the rope and ties to attach it. This comes with everything you need. We have a small booth for the kids fair and I will be bringing this along not only will it protect us from weather but also people who like to trespass.

Fantastic super heavy duty but totally perfectly clear plastic tarp. This has white reinforced corners with grommets, and grommets spaced all around the perimeter of the tarp. There is a rope that it inside a casing and sewn all to help give it stability and shape and it works. Great ideas! Included is a rope to use for tying through the grommets and also a bag of zipties if you want to secure it that way. This is the heaviest clear tarp I've ever had and I have big plans for it . I've never like milk white plastic that claims to be clear but this truly is. I expect this will last for years through all sorts of weather and we have some doozy weather here. I'll update as time goes on as to longevity and performance but initial thoughts are that this is the best, heaviest, most clear tarp you can get. Highly recommended

Wow, this 14Mil Heavy Duty Clear Vinyl Plastic Tarp really is heavy duty! My fear that it might turn out to be lightweight and flimsy was unfounded! This seems super sturdy to me. The metal grommets and reinforced edges seem excellent. It came with 20 zip ties and some rope/cord. (See photos.) I ordered the 6’x8’ tarp, and it weighs just over 4lbs, so it is a bit too heavy for me to carry on my hiking trip as I had planned to, but I really appreciate the quality and attention to detail, and will either use it to cover our outdoor furniture, or keep it in the trunk of our car for when we do our big road trip. I would absolutely trust this to keep out the rain. You might want more zip ties – this is not just a one-time use kind of tarp.

I've tried traditional blue tarps, shower curtains, and other budget options, but nothing has held up particularly well through an entire winter. I'm always looking for the best combination of value and functionality.Holy tarp! This thing is THICK. At 14 mil, it feels substantially heavier and more durable than the typical thin plastic tarps I've used. The corners have reinforced grommets, and there is cord built into the edges to help keep the tarp tight when installed. The clear material has good visibility while still providing a barrier from the elements. It is also true to the advertised size, which is always nice to see.I haven't put it through its intended use yet, so I can't speak to how well it will hold up through an entire winter. I'll be installing it on my chicken run in a few months, and that will be the real test. I plan to update my review if I find any issues with durability.The price initially made me hesitate, but after seeing the quality of the material in person, I understand the higher price.
