The Byutrcfuy Cordless Soldering Iron is a viable alternative for small soldering jobs where access to electrical outlets is restricted. Heating up to 500 degrees celcius and drawing 90 watts, this iron gets to 500 celcius very quickly, but also draws down a battery rapidly as well. It gets hot enough to make a solid weld, though I found it difficult to smooth-out the weld afterward. It comes with 6 tips and a small role of solid-core solder. It doesn't specify in any of the literature the zinc-lead ratio of the solder; also, it does not supply any flux to help the solder flow better. There is also a certain lack of instructions regarding the sponge tray - how to assemble and use it - but I suppose most can work out where it is supposed to attach to the unit (a slot on the side) and how it is to be used. Personally, I'm glad to have this little device as a part of my tools. I'm sure it will come in handy in those instances where I have a small job and no electrical access. I knocked the review down a star for some lack of detail in the instructions.
