[Color: 12.3"Hexagon & Distressed White]
This farmhouse semi‑flush mount ceiling light has a great retro‑meets‑modern look—farmhouse chic with clean lines and solid craftsmanship. The combination of solid wood and the Distressed White finish gives it a warm, authentic character that feels right at home in a rustic or modern farmhouse space.Installation is straightforward. The instructions are clear, and attaching the wood frame is simple. Wiring follows the standard three‑wire setup—black, white, and copper ground. Just note that this fixture isn’t designed for sloped ceilings. Once installed with three bulbs, it looks fantastic and provides plenty of light.A stylish, well‑made fixture that adds charm and personality to any room

This light is the last light I needed to change all of our builder grade lights over to a black "farmhouse" design. Only problem is that it is not black. No problem! The wood part is held onto the light itself with 3 short drywall style screws. Remove them and the light can be sprayed any color you want. I used a matte black spray to match the other lights I have. If I really wanted to get fancy I could dry brush the light with a bronze to really match the others but it looks fine in the laundry room as it is.The wood enclosure looks to have been hand brushed with a thick white/beige paint. There is no grain but the brushing gives it texture and depth. I believe from looking in the screw holes that the "wood" may actually be an MDF type of material. Either way, it looks good. The light was easy to install. I didn't bother with the instructions cause I'm that kind of a guy but it did come with all the screws, wire nuts and instructions needed. For me the quality is on par with lower/mid-priced lighting, but that said, it looks a lot better than the builder grade "boob" lights they put everywhere. I feel the price was just slightly higher than average for a light of this size but it would not be a deal breaker for me if I really liked it.If you want a good looking light that won't break the bank, this is the light for you. If your looking for a high end light you might want to look a little further. For me, it works good in the laundry or a walk in closet but for a main living area, I might keep looking only because, despite being "farmhouse" style, it is a little on the rustic side.

I really love the look of this semi-flush mount light fixture! It brings the perfect blend of rustic and refined charm to any space. The cutout geometric pattern on the faux-wood/distressed frame is gorgeous. It casts really cool shadows on the ceiling when it's turned on and serves as a great focal point. It feels sturdy, and the dark metal hardware contrast beautifully with the lighter, weathered frame. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it arrived with a rip in the package but that isn’t a fault on the light. Another reason is because the bulbs are completely exposed through the open cutout design, you will definitely want to invest in some nice-looking Edison bulbs. If you use standard, bright white utility bulbs, it can look a bit harsh and ruin the vibe. Also, the installation instructions were a little sparse, though anyone with basic DIY experience can figure it out.Overall, it's a fantastic, stylish piece that looks much more expensive than it actually is.

This farmhouse flush mount instantly upgrades a space with the kind of warm, architectural presence that makes a room feel intentionally designed instead of simply decorated. The distressed white MDF shade paired with the matte black frame strikes an excellent balance between rustic farmhouse charm and clean geometric styling, giving it a refined look that works beautifully in hallways, kitchens, entryways, mudrooms, or even a covered patio. One thing I actually appreciate is that bulbs are not included. That gives you the freedom to install high-quality E26 dimmable LEDs that truly maximize the fixture’s potential. Pairing this with high-CRI bulbs completely changes the experience, producing richer wood tones, cleaner whites, more natural skin tones, and dramatically better overall color fidelity than cheap standard LEDs. Add a dimmer switch and this fixture transitions effortlessly from bright functional lighting to a softer ambient glow.Installation was straightforward and uncomplicated. Removing the old fixture, mounting this one, and wiring everything up was a simple process with basic tools and a ladder. The flush mount design is especially practical for lower ceilings while still offering excellent light distribution across smaller rooms, hallways, and entry spaces. The build quality is also surprisingly solid for the price point. The metal frame feels durable, the finish looks clean and consistent, and the overall craftsmanship gives it a much more premium appearance than expected at this price range. Size-wise, it’s ideal for compact to medium spaces, though larger rooms may want multiple fixtures or a larger statement light.Pros: • Stylish modern farmhouse design with clean lines• Distressed white and matte black finish looks upscale• Flush mount works perfectly for lower ceilings• Standard E26 bulbs allow full customization• Excellent light coverage for hallways, kitchens, and entries• Easy installation process• Solid construction and great overall valueBottom line: Updating light fixtures is one of the fastest ways to completely refresh a home, and this one delivers an impressive mix of style, functionality, and value. With the right dimmable high-CRI bulbs installed, it creates a warm, comfortable, designer-quality lighting experience that feels far more expensive than it is.

Well, we really tried hard to install this lamp. Hubby and I usually have a lamp install down pad. This one was quite the challenge and we are still working on it.The problem is that the screws that come out of the included mounting bracket are too short. We tried to mark the tips of the screws with red paint so we could see better ( the screw plate is black with the two tiny holes ) , only to finally realize that there is no way we can get them to catch .Hubby got so frustrated since he did the wire work so well with the best tape , only to have to cut it all off again to release the lamp. He even had the two bulbs ( not included) ready to go. If the Caringlight flush mount light would have been easier to install, I would have so liked the look.Well, hopefully we can get a different plate with longer screws and still get it on the ceiling, I still have hope the lamp will go up. The quality seems to be sturdy, since both of us were struggling, at one point hubby even tied the lamp to the bracket, so I didn’t have to hold it while he did the taping . When he called me and cut the string we were so sure everything would go smoothly.. but so far no.Will update when it’s hanging ..

I’m super excited to keep updating the light fixtures in our home, replacing the old ones with some fresh, modern farmhouse-style lights. This particular fixture really checks all the boxes! It has such a clean look, and installation was a breeze. My husband just needed his tools to take down the old one and a ladder to reach the bulbs, which made the whole process smooth.Plus, the light bulbs it uses are pretty standard, so that’s a nice bonus!I genuinely feel that the quality of this light is fantastic. It’s clearly well-made, and the craftsmanship is impressive. The price is totally reasonable too, especially since I think it would work beautifully indoors or even on a covered patio if you’re looking to spruce up your outdoor space.Honestly, I can’t stress enough how updating light fixtures is one of the simplest and most effective ways to refresh your home!

I approached this square farmhouse fixture with the same scrutiny I bring to any piece meant to live in a refined residential environment, and what immediately struck me was how well its distressed white MDF shade and matte black frame balance rustic warmth with clean geometric discipline. No bulbs are included, which is actually an advantage because it allows me to specify a proper high‑end E26 base dimmable LED in the CRI 95+ range at adjustable temps from 2700K to 6000K. That combination is essential in today’s lighting design, where full‑spectrum, color‑accurate LEDs prevent reds and blues from turning muddy and ensure wood tones, food, textiles, and skin look natural. The combination of a Warm to Daylight white temperature palette and HIGH R9 RENDERING transforms these lamps from simple décor into functional architectural elements that support Ambient, Task, and Accent lighting to create depth, and this fixture excels as an ambient anchor that can shift in mood when paired with a quality dimmer. The form is precise, the installation straightforward, and the build surprisingly durable for its price point. Once equipped with the right lamps, it delivers a level of visual comfort and color fidelity that elevates even a simple hallway or entry, making it a strong value for anyone who understands how profoundly good light shapes a home.
