Heavy Duty Waterproof White Tarp

I got this Chanllogy 16 mil Heavy Duty White Tarp to cover some aluminum fencing I was storing for use later. The pine trees were starting to drop a lot of sap and the pine needles were everywhere; I needed to protect the fence rails. The tarp is 10x12 feet and was the right size; i was beginning to wrap the tarp around the fencing, like wrapping a present when I heard a tear. I stopped only to see the tarp was not tough enough to resist a tear if pulled too tight against the ends of a fence rail section. I have to remember that this tarp has plenty of grommets with reinforced corners however it is still only 16mils thick and If I want the tarp to protect the fencing from the dropping of the pine trees then I will have to protect the tarp from the fencings corners and ends. In my situation I need a tarp that is stronger.

I am quite impressed with this tarp. The thickness is equivalent to a couple of other heavy duty tarps I have ( thickness is stated at 16mil). This 10' by 12' size is always useful and I am going to use this one to cover our outdoor ping pong table. I'm pleased that it is UV resistant, waterproof, and white to reflect our damaging SoCal sun. The old, dark colored one had disintegrated.There are enough grommets along the sides for tie down situations and I really like that all the corner grommets are reinforced with additional material. I checked the waterproofing by pooling water on it, nothing soaked through. Also I cannot see that this tarp will rip under load, (its far superior to those cheapo blue ones).I gave 5 stars because the price seems reasonable and this tarp compares very favorably to tarps that I previously have sought out to be heavy duty.

We’ve been storing our firewood on our trailer for fall, and this tarp is exactly what we needed to keep everything dry in the Florida heat and sudden rain. We wanted something that didn’t stand out too much, and the white color blends in nicely without drawing attention. I hesitated a little at the price, but it’s absolutely worth it. The material is thick, the corners are reinforced, and it hasn’t lifted or flapped in the wind at all.It’s a great size for covering firewood, patio items, or equipment, and the heavy-duty feel gives confidence that it’ll hold up through storms and sun. This fully water resistant tarp is a great value for the money. A dependable tarp that does its job well.

Seems like a strong and durable tarp. One side is definitely the outside to utilize for more water resistance or run off. One of the rings came off immediately but I won’t be using them anyway so I’m ok with that.
