Flush Mount Ceiling Light Farmhouse Industrial Metal Dome Shade

We wanted a clean, updated look for our hallway lighting and we found this DIRYZON Flush Mount Ceiling Light.This has been a great little upgrade. The white dome shade reflects light downward efficiently, brightening up the hallway a lot more than our old fixture did. The subtle gold hardware accents add just enough detail to keep it from looking too plain or basic.Since it sits semi flush against the ceiling, it works well in our space where clearance is a little tight. The metal construction feels solid, and the powder coated finish has been easy to wipe down whenever dust builds up on it.Installation was simple with the standard hardware included, nothing complicated about the wiring either. Great option for anyone wanting to update basic overhead lighting with a bit of an industrial touch.

Fine for hallway, stairwell, and some entryways, but really too small for center of a normal sized room. Also, due to shape of shade, light is directed downward and illumination will not carry to corners or ceiling of room. The positive and neutral wires are aluminum core, and 18AWG. Although 18 AWG wire is perfectly fine for the internal wiring of an indoor light fixture, I would be more comfortable if it were a 16 or 14 AWG wire. Should not be a problem if maximum wattage (60W) bulb is not exceeded as the fixture appears to be well made. The ground wire is bare, braided copper.Verdict: Attractive outdoor light fixture offered at a fair value. Functions as intended. 4-Stars for meeting my expectations.

This flush mount ceiling light was just the look we were trying to achieve in our space. It complements the industrial vibe while shedding light to our hallway space. We love the color - black - it complemented other fixtures we have in the space. The installation was easy and it has worked reliably for us.

I recently installed this lighting fixture in a bedroom in my home. The installation process was not as easy as I thought it would be due to the age of my home. I am familiar with how to hang a lighting fixture but if you have not done so before I recommend hiring a pro. The lighting fixture came with the bracket and all of the screws and necessary components but I did have to purchase a junction box due to the old one that was already installed possibly 100 years ago was not compatible. First order of business is finding the breaker that the light is on and turning that off. The wires were old and brittle so it was a delicate procedure as to not damage the old wires as I mentioned before my house is very old. The lighting fixture itself made a big difference in appearance over the old light and because it has the dome shape over the light bulb and it concentrates the light more than the open style that was previously installed. I like the black color which is neutral and goes right with the tan painted trim. I do still have to get it to be flush with the ceiling due to the way the ceiling is constructed with plaster and lathe but the installation was a success and the room looks much brighter. The old light had a deeper top connecting to the ceiling so I still have some tweaking to do. But overall I am very happy with the look and quality that I got. Great price for such a nice piece.

It has a clean industrial look that works with a lot of different decorating styles.A few things I appreciated:-The matte black finish is exactly as pictured and has a nice, even appearance.-It arrived in perfect condition with no scratches, dents, or blemishes in the finish.-The fixture is somewhat lightweight, which actually made it easier to install.-Even though it's lightweight, it still feels well made and plenty sturdy for a ceiling-mounted fixture.-The dimensions matched the listing description, and it looked exactly like the product photos.Installation was simple and basic and didn't require anything out of the ordinary. Once it was mounted, it sat flush against the ceiling and gave the room a clean, finished look.This is just a super cute light fixture. It's simple without looking plain, and the matte black finish gives it a modern industrial feel. Since it's ceiling mounted, I have no concerns about the lighter weight affecting its durability, and I expect it to last for many years.
