This Crystmetal Storm Door Handle Complete Set, Storm Door Handle Replacement with Lock works wonderfully on my screen door. My older door did not have holes exactly aligned with this door handle, but the holes that it did have were close enough that I was able to widen the hole on one side to make it work. I think the fit would have been snug and perfect had it been a newer door with standardized holes. As it is, my set up has a bit of play and movement that it shouldn’t have. Not the lockset’s fault. Other than shaving out the hole, installation was straightforward. There are good instructions and the set included the necessary hardware. It looks great! My screen door hasn’t locked in years…and now it does. Excellent value for the money.

Fits perfectly into the storm door. The door was repainted white, and the old lock set was looking shoddy, so I replaced it. The new lock set makes the whole project look crisp and sharp. In addition, the new lock has a higher level key for added security

I bought this Storm Door Handle Complete Set as a replacement for an older storm door, and it got the job done, but it was not the quick swap I expected. The fit was close enough for my Larson-style door, but installation took several hours and required more patience and adjustment than I anticipated.Once installed, the handle feels solid and the lock functions properly. I also appreciated that it is non-handed, which makes it more versatile for different door setups. That said, anyone buying this should be prepared to spend time lining everything up correctly, especially if replacing older hardware.Overall, this is a workable replacement if you need a complete set for a compatible storm or screen door, but I would not call it an easy install. It’s a good option for someone comfortable with a longer DIY project.

PROS:L Good quality replacement locking handle for older Larson Storn Door. Parts fit exactly into original cut outs and screw holes. They supply 3 sets of door screws to accomodate any door thickness, but only one multi length latch lever. I had to cut that latch lever to the correct length, but then it fit exactly.CON: the door handles are held in the face plate by a spring washer that needs to be opened to fit into the handle groove. If you dont have a spring pliers, this is a hard job. This should have been factory installed. Otherwise, greast quality and 3 minute install.

I got a call from one of our renters that the Larson storm door handle broke internally. I looked online and found this and ordered it. Then he told me that this new handle looks just like theirs, except theirs doesn’t have a lock. That would have been good information to have. So, I bought an M1 style keyed lock to replace an M2 style non-keyed lock. Rookie mistake on my part, but I was trying to be really responsive on repairs.This is a beautiful handle and I like the idea of them having a keyed door handle. I’m pretty handy, so I plan to remove the old handle, and determine if I can make modifications to the door that would allow me to use this new handle. Note that Larson does not recommend this, so I may end up falling on my face.As I mentioned, this door handle is beautiful. I hope it lasts longer than the original OEM door handle, which was only a few years old when the internals cratered. I’ll update this once I find out what I can and cannot do with this excellent door handle.
