Heavy-Duty Gusseted Strut Fittings for Strong, Secure Framing Connections

[Arm length: 120, Number of Items: 8]
These 90-degree gusseted fittings are a solid choice for building strong, reliable strut channel assemblies. Made from heavy-duty galvanized steel, they provide excellent reinforcement for 1-5/8-inch strut channel systems used in electrical, HVAC, piping, shelving, and structural framing projects. The reinforced gusset design adds extra rigidity, helping create stable corner connections that hold up well under demanding conditions. The precision-drilled four-hole design makes alignment and installation straightforward, allowing for secure fastening with compatible strut hardware. The galvanized finish offers excellent corrosion resistance, making these fittings suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Each bracket feels sturdy and well-manufactured, giving confidence in long-term durability. If you're looking for dependable corner brackets that combine strength, durability, and easy installation, this 8-pack is an excellent value. They're well-built, versatile, and ideal for professional contractors as well as DIY fabrication projects. Highly recommended!

These 90-degree brackets are the perfect solution if you need to make rigid shapes out of any type of Strut Channel (like Unistrut or Superstrut). The thickness of the metal used in the brackets is extremely thick and durable, in fact thicker gauge metal than Strut Channel. The design of these brackets makes them more easily mounted on at least one of the flat punched faces of the Strut Channel. However, you could probably connect two pieces of Strut Channel with their U-shaped open faces toward each other if you are willing to cut the Strut Channel at a 45-degree angle and nestle the bracket within the gaps. Another thing to be aware of is that you will need to supply your own bolts and nuts for these since hardware is not included.Overall, these are wonderfully sturdy brackets if you need to create rigid structural support out of Unistrut or other types of Strut Channel.

These are well made -These are well made -

I am very familiar with the shelving these were designed for and that’s why I ordered these. They are as robust as advertised and then some. I was actually surprised at how strong they are. I have not mounted them yet but I am not using them for shelving. But before I go there - they seem to fit the specs for the struts they were designed for with a little headroom to get the bolts in etc. I took some pics but these right angle fittings. I am a bit of a DIY guy and actually ordered these to sturdy up my fire wood rack - My Fire Wood rack is free standing- 12’ x 5’ x 15” so it’s big and these supports will be added to the structure to keep it squared up - Unfortunately it is full of wood right now so I have to wait to put the fittings in. The reason I choose these fittings is -They are Robust-Low Profile - as compared to a wooden diagonal.I can use 1/2 Lag and washer to secure it.They are Galvanized so no weather damage. They are 1 1/2”— perfect to line up with the edge of a 2 x 8.Anyway the bottom line is whatever you use this bracket/fitting for you will not be disappointed in its quality, design and value.

Take a Moment

[Arm length: 120, Number of Items: 4]
Anyone can sketch a strut rack on a napkin. What matters is what happens when you load the rack.“Nervous” is not one of the feelings you want to experience immediately before your design is challenged by gravity.Gusseted corners are what transform a couple pieces of strut channel and a handful of hardware into something that behaves much more like a moment connection than a collection of parts. These 90-degree gusseted brackets are made from substantial material, the galvanizing appears well done, and the four-hole design provides significantly more rigidity than simply bolting two pieces of strut together and hoping geometry solves the problem. The 3/16” thickness inspires confidence, and the brackets feel appropriate for shelving, equipment racks, utility framing, supports, and other structural strut applications where stiffness actually matters.I’ve built enough things from strut channel to know that the exciting part is always the channel itself. The fittings get treated as an afterthought right up until the moment you realize they’re carrying most of the responsibility. In most projects, the channel gets the credit. The gussets don't need the credit.

Sturdy, and well squared. Only wish they had bumps to help with alignment on front side.Sturdy, ...

These are super-strong, i mounted a couple to the front side of my u-channel using wide washers that catch the lip of the U channel. Those aren't going anywhere, they're sturdy as mounted.I do worry that there are no dimples or bumps on the surface to keep them in place when mounted to the rim on the front side, that would have been a huge benefit if present as it would enable mounting to the front but having the bolts traverse the channel and fasten to the other side (eg, driven into the wall or into a 2/4 on the back side). These do not come with any nesting feature at all like this, so you must bind them to either the front lip using a properly sized mounting plate, or bind them to the back side. My u-channel did not have mounting slots on the sides, i could not test that mounting method, however the slots on the back were same size and spacing as the mounting slots on these fitting brackets. They are well done, well squared, and very sturdy.

[Arm length: 120, Number of Items: 8, Arm length: 120, Number of Items: 8]
Set of eight gusseted 90 degree brackets for 1-5/8" channel. These are a four hole variety.I use strut often and these are okay for the price. The pictures in the ad flatter the product received. The actual product is formed rougher (sharper edges) and I captured some close up photos. The cutouts for the bolts are rough, the corners and edges are not rounded and smooth like they show, the plating is mediocre. Squareness is non-existent on every one. That said, the issues listed above don't make these unusable. What I like is that they are substantially cheaper than name brand (Genuine Unistrut connectors for example) and comparable in price to a non-gusseted four hole generic L-bracket purchased at a big box store. The gusset makes these much stronger than a standard L-bracket.Three stars, typical of what I expected when ordered. Quality of product shown in the ad looks better than the actual product received.

Heavy duty 8 pack of 90 degree galvanized steel support brackets

[Arm length: 120, Number of Items: 8]
Although made mostly for steel framing, these brackets will work really well supporting standard wood 2x4s or landscape timbers in high load areas. That is my specific use for these brackets; as extra strong corner supports for my DIY backyard shed.I had to use large washers due to the 1/2” hole spacing in the brackets. Plus you need to supply all the nuts, bolts, washers etc.Be aware that though galvanized, it is not rust proof; it slows down the spread of rust.If you need these for a heavy duty application, they should work well for you. This 8 pack is priced at the lower end of similar quality brackets.I gave it 5 stars for its well thought out design and that they will work well for homeowners, electricians and other pro applications.
