Picked up this 39-piece set to handle basic residential water lines and under-sink repairs. It packs pretty much every specialty tool and fitting you need around a standard American household.Used the multi-function basin wrench to slap on a bidet seat attachment last weekend. Reaching behind porcelain in tight vanity spaces is usually a pain. The tool reached right up, bit down on the supply line nuts, and gave zero hassle.Quality on the tools themselves is decent for the money. The 304 stainless shower head wrench feels solid and has good grip, and the carbon steel extractors have clean, burr-free edges. The wide-jaw adjustable wrench opens wide enough for big plastic drain nuts without slipping or chewing up the finish. Didn't have to test every single piece since my plumbing is in good shape, but I feel confident having these ready in the garage for the next job.Keep in mind this set is not built for daily trade abuse, high-pressure lines, or commercial work. Perfect for DIY homeowner tasks, though.The cheap included toolbox is the obvious weak point. Thin, brittle plastic that cracked in two spots almost right out of the box.Toss the tools into a real canvas pouch and move on. You cannot beat the value for what you get in this kit.Five stars.

If you like to tackle your own household plumbing projects (such as switching out a leaky faucet or redecorating with new fixtures), this is a handy set to keep tucked away with your tools. Most of us DIYers have all the basic tools to handle simpler household plumbing projects. But no plumbing project ever ends up being simple.For example, your standard wrenches might be too long to spin the hardware in tight spaces between the backs of a sunken kitchen sink and the cabinet/wall. This is where the sink wrench (the red tool) in this set saves your day. It’s designed specifically to reach into tight spaces. Or have you ever cracked a pipe when trying to remove it or the rusted hardware holding it in place, or stripped a rusted screw? This problem can stop you dead in your tracks. But two different threaded extraction tools in this set can help keep the project moving by giving you a grip on those broken/stripped pieces.There’s a PVC pipe threader (for ½” pipe). If all you have on hand are slip fittings or you need to replace a piece of threaded ½“ pipe, you can use this tool to easily add male or female threads. And there’s a specific multi-function wrench with a center level that might prove helpful if you’re actually installing new hot/cold-water service plumbing that needs to be spaced and leveled (but this is probably beyond most DIY skills).The rest of the set includes a basic adjustable F-wrench, some replacement faucet gaskets and aerator screens, a roll of teflon (plumber’s) tape, and a basic pair of cotton gloves. None of these tools are highest-quality – they’re more the type you’d find in bargain bins or even dollar stores. And the “toolbox” in which the set comes is really cheap plastic. Mine was already cracked in two places (see photo) from just the weight of the tools inside. If I were to add even a bit more weight with my own tools, the box would likely just fail. So the toolbox itself is a throwaway.Bottom line: if you’re really into plumbing projects, skip this set. Purchase better quality versions of the specific tools you need. But if you’re a DIYer who likes to try to tackle smaller plumbing problems yourself first, this is a good set to keep handy. No plumbing project ever goes smoothly from beginning to end, and one of the handy tools in this set might be just what you need to save the day.

I was actually waiting on this set to arrive. No joke, about five minutes after I got it I was in the kitchen removing and replacing the sink. That's about as real of a test as I can give a plumbing tool set. lol.The tools are solid and don't feel like cheap junk. The metal parts surprised me the most. The casting was smooth, the edges were clean, and everything I used felt sturdy when I put some pressure on it.Working around a kitchen sink ain't exactly roomy, and having the different wrench options made the functionality of this set really stand out. I didn't have to stop halfway through and go digging through the garage for another tool. This set had everything I needed for the job. They took note of everything's size and put it all in a good sized case.I figured there'd be a couple useful pieces and a bunch of filler. Nope. I used what I needed, got the old sink out and the replacement in. Great value for the money, and this one's staying with my plumbing tools for sure.

This is a very nice starter set for basic plumbing, ie swapping facets, hoses, and minor leaks. This set comes in a cheap plastic case that I don’t think will last very long at all. I wish they would have charged a little more and used a decent case. The rest of the set is fair quality nothing amazing, but a great starter set for a new home owner. I have used the wench and the sink drain wrench. In the past I made a drain wrench out of pvc pipe, but this one fits much better and is easier to use getting the nuts off of a faucet. The metal wrench works decent it binds a little opening and closing, but nothing too bad. This set comes with thread tape, but I have switched to a thick tape and had better results, still this is great for someone without any tape. I really like that this comes with spare washers to include some with a screen I needed a new one on my washing room sink. The shower faucet wrench is fair at best a crescent wrench is better in my opinion. I used this when I swapped out my downstairs bathroom faucet and it did a good job. For the price I think this is a great value to a new homeowner. If you have a good set of tools already though I don’t think this is worth it. Overall, I am happy with this set and give it 5 stars for what it is. If you compare this to high quality plumbing tools this set is not good, but this isn’t ment to compete against them.

I have a bathroom in our house that is very small. The bathroom vanity is much smaller than normal, and working under the sink is a challenge. Regular tools don't fit so well in that small space. And that is why I ordered this set. I had a replacement faucet that has been sitting around for a while as I was not looking forward to installing it.This little tool set made it a bit easier to get the old faucet out and install the replacement. I could have done it with the tools I had, but those wrench heads on the rods made it much easier to get to the nuts holding the faucet in place and remove the old one, then allowed me to get the new faucet tightened down good.I didn't use the adjustable thing, and I did test the Pex cutter. That works just fine. It's not the greatest cutter, but it will work to get you through simple jobs. The gloves are standard low quality with the little rubber grippers to help give you a better hold. I did use the pipe thread tape, which is on par with most thread tapes you will find in your local hardware store. I prefer the wider tape, but since they gave this to me as part of the kit I figured I would use it. I did not use the washers.I do wish they provided a little carry bag or something. I put in all in a large zip lock bag to keep the set together. Its nothing special, but in my case it helped me get the job done.
