Like the gloves, however medium is more like a small size for my hands, they fit tight. I recommend you order the next size up. The price was good and the quality is good. I do recommend these gloves.

This means that you will still need to be cautious around sharp objects. What I found is that the protection varies at different parts of the area of the glove that could contact a surface when grabbing it. Fingers were protested with more of a coating while the palm had slightly less. This stands to reason as it is the fingers that will tend to get cut more often and where more force is exerted.I verified the resistance with a razor blade and I found areas to require considerably more than what the testing rating indicates.Further, they fit my very large hands exceptionally well, and are very comfortable. The flexibility is good, grip is not inhibited, and breathability is great.I can easily recommend these gloves!

I am an avid gardener and spend quite a bit of time hand weeding. I prefer pulling weeds to using toxic herbicides even though it is more time consuming because the long-term effects of chemicals concern me and, so far, no weed has developed a resistance to hand pulling. But we have some extremely thorny perennial weeds around our yard including southern horsenettle and southern dewberry. Horsenettle is an upright weed with slender thorns that break off under the skin. Dewberry scrambles across the ground with a thorny stem like pieces of barbed wire; I’ve tripped over it, ripping open my ankle, on multiple occasions. Both of these weeds easily pierce my typical nitrile-dipped, knit gardening gloves. So, when I saw these cut-resistant gloves offered here, I wondered if they would be thorn-resistant as well.The gloves came paired together inside of a corrugated cardboard box. I usually wear a medium gardening glove so that’s what size I ordered in these. The medium gloves fit me snuggly, especially around a couple of arthritic knuckles where they are a bit more tight than I’d like but tolerable. The knit is comfortable and not occlusive; I don’t find my hands sweating inside the gloves in hot weather. And they are flexible and preserve tactile perception so I can easily grasp the stems of weeds. But their biggest plus is their thorn protection; they are not 100% impervious to thorns but no thorns lodged in, or under, my skin while pulling horsenettle. They are not touchscreen compatible for me but I’ll happily pull them off to use my phone rather than dig small and painful thorns out from under my skin.I am so glad that I took a chance on these gloves for an alternative use. While these gloves are not as protective as leather against thorns, they are more flexible and comfortable to wear. Their cost is comparable to my nitrile-dipped knit gloves that offer no thorn-resistance so I am very pleased with this happy discovery. I recommend the Comix A3 cut-resistant gloves to other gardeners who work around thorny plants; they make the job much more pleasant.

I have cut resistant gloves for use in the kitchen that I purchased at restaurant supply stores. Their A6 and A8 ratings are worth every penny when working with razor sharp knives, but they’re not appropriate for outdoor use. They were expensive, the material is thicker, and they don’t have the rubberized grip. For outdoor tasks, I need gloves that trade some of that cut resistance for comfort and grip. I don’t need A8 protection for handling fencing in the garden or clearing weeds from the tines of the cultivator, but I do need grip and comfort. These gloves offer both.I wear a medium in most gloves, and these fit perfectly. They’re snug enough that they’re not going to catch on something, but at the same time they flex easily and allow unrestricted movement of my hands. Even when I bend my fingers, there’s no annoying bagginess at the fingertips. Their grip is excellent. Our fiberglass snow stakes do double duty as plant supports in the summer. These gloves grip the stakes securely and allow me to push them into the soil without slipping. The protection provided by the gloves means no more fiberglass splinters in my hands. Likewise, I no longer fear handling cattle panels and T-posts, sharp garden hoes, garden shears, or other garden tools just waiting to bite.Cleaning my grills and smokers is another job where cuts lurk. The cut itself is bad enough, but having to clean grease, smoke, and creosote out of something that already hurts is a special joy. I keep a pair of these gloves just for that task and wear nitrile gloves over them. The gloves stay clean and it’s nice to know they’re there if the worst happens.These gloves are perfect for the jobs I need them for. They’re comfortable, even for long periods. The grip is excellent and they provide a meaningful level of protection. I’m really happy with them.

The first thing I noticed was how comfortable these gloves are right out of the package... They slipped on easy and the X Large size fit my hands great without feeling too tight or too loose... The material has enough stretch that I could still move my fingers naturally while working, which is something I always look for because bulky gloves usually end up sitting on the workbench instead of my handsI use these while working on my 2000 Silverado and for handling sheet metal, sharp brackets, and other parts around the garage... They provide a nice level of cut resistance that gives me extra confidence without making my hands feel numb or clumsy... The PU coated palms grip tools really well, even when there is a little oil on them, and I never felt like a wrench or socket was going to slip out of my handThe build quality is better than I expected for the price... The stitching is clean, the knit material feels durable, and after several projects they have held up without the coating peeling or the fingers wearing through... I also like that they breathe well because my hands do not end up feeling like they have been wrapped in plastic after an afternoon of working in the garageGetting six pairs makes these an excellent value since I can keep a pair in the truck, garage, toolbox, and still have extras ready to go... They are comfortable enough for long jobs and offer a good balance between protection and dexterity for automotive work, warehouse tasks, or general projects around the house... If one pair gets dirty I just grab another... My only problem now is figuring out which pair I left in yesterday's toolbox because they seem to disappear faster than my 10mm socket
