I picked up this set of long security star bits because I am always running into deeply recessed screws on car parts and appliances where my standard short bits just cannot reach. Having six inches of reach is an absolute game changer and the magnetic tips are actually strong enough to hold onto the screws so I don't drop them into tight engine bays and have to go fishing for them later. The bits are made out of tough alloy steel and you can tell right away that the construction is super solid. I have already used a few of the sizes on my impact driver to break loose some stubborn bolts and there was absolutely no twisting or stripping of the heads. It really feels like the machining on these is top notch so I fully expect them to hold up for the long haul in my garage. They also come in a handy color coded base which keeps everything perfectly organized on my workbench without taking up much space. For the amount of bits you get and the heavy duty quality it provides a pretty great value for anyone who tinkers. Overall this is an awesome set of bits that makes taking apart tricky housings a whole lot less frustrating!

These Torx bits are great to have on hand, especially because having some longer bits available will inevitably come in handy. The 6-inch length makes it much easier to reach screws in deeper or harder-to-access areas.The built-in magnets are a nice feature, although they're fairly weak. They help hold a screw in place, but the magnet isn't strong enough to reliably keep a 2½-inch construction screw attached if you tip the bit over. It's better than having no magnet at all, but I wouldn't rely on it for overhead or awkward-angle work.That said, this set is still fairly inexpensive, and the longer bits make it a useful addition to a toolbox. Definitely worth having around for those projects where a standard-length bit just isn't enough.

These have lived up to expectations! They are orderly in my toolbox, easy to find the one I need when I need it.
