This Muwood socket set is a very comprehensive 1/2” drive set for larger fasteners, with metric from 10 to 24mm and SAE from 3/8” to 1 1/4”. The set contains both standard depth and deep sockets, finished in black phosphate with stamped-in sizes and rounded corners to avoid rounding fasteners. It also contains 3”, 5” and 10” stackable extension bars, a 1/2” pear-head quick-release ratchet, 3/8 to 1/2” M-F and F-M adapters,  and a 1/2” universal joint, all finished in the same black phosphate. The set looks and feels premium, made from high-quality, thick steel with accurate dimensions, and looks very similar to a set from a premium brand that also starts with M.As the set contains a large number of heavy duty sockets it has substantial weight, the delivery driver struggled with the box it came in and you will not want to be lugging this around very much. The plastic case is well made and seems up to the task, it has two metal latches on the front and two plastic ones on the sides. I haven’t destruction tested these with a 1/2” impact yet, but so far the sockets fit very well and seem like they would stand up to hard use on big fasteners even with a high torque impact. Overall this set seems like a very good deal, it is very similar to sets in various stores that cost between 50% more and 3x as much, so far I have not found there to be a difference in quality.

I already own two MUWOOD workbenches and have been very happy with them, which I'm guessing is why Amazon recommended this socket set to me. For the most part, this set lives up to my experience with the brand.This is a 69-piece, 1/2-inch drive impact socket set made from Cr-V alloy steel. It includes both metric sizes from 10mm through 24mm and SAE sizes from 3/8" through 1-1/4", with a very good selection of deep sockets. You also get a 72-tooth ratchet, 3", 5", and 10" extensions, a universal impact adapter, drive adapters, and several reverse spiral sockets. It's a very complete assortment for automotive, truck, RV, and general garage work.The sockets themselves feel extremely heavy duty, and they're impact rated, so this isn't just a basic hand-tool socket set. The size markings are also large and easy to read.My original plan was to keep this in my RV so I would have one comprehensive socket kit on the road. Then I picked up the case. At roughly 28 pounds, it is a beast. That's reassuring from a tool-quality standpoint, but less appealing when every pound matters in an RV. I may ultimately keep it in the garage instead.I have three relatively minor complaints.First, one of the side clasps on my molded case arrived broken. Fortunately, the main front clasps are what really hold the case closed, so the broken side latch hasn't stopped me from using it.Second, virtually everything had a thin film of oil on it when I opened the case. I assume that's there to protect the steel from corrosion, but it means your hands get oily pretty quickly the first few times you handle everything.Finally, the molded case holds the sockets almost too well. I definitely prefer this over opening the case and having 69 pieces fall everywhere, but some of the sockets require a surprising amount of force to pull out or push back into their slots.Those nags aside, I'm impressed with the set. It has an excellent range of sizes, lots of deep sockets, useful accessories, and the sockets themselves feel like they should survive serious use. It's considerably heavier than the portable kit I originally envisioned, but that's mostly because there is a lot of substantial steel packed into the case.

This is a heavy set of very strong sockets and each socket is well marked with the size and has a marked place in the supplied heavy duty plastic storage case. These sockets are a good fit on my test fasteners and don't slip. They worked well in my impact driver. I am pleased with the quality of manufacture of this socket set and I can certainly recommend it. I think that this socket set is good value for the price.

This is a nice socket set. The quality of this set seems to be good and I am not seeing anything that gives me concern at this point. I will say if weight dictates quality this is very high quality, it’s very heavy. I got this to have as a pack out set and when not in use, have it in my shop. I keep my nice set in my tool box in the garage and I always seem to be going back and forth for a set. This gives me a set in both places. I really like that these are impact rated and they work well on my impact wrenches. This is a fairly complete set in its range. It doesn’t have the really small sizes or the really big sizes. For what I have needed so far it has had the sizes I needed. I really like that it has metric and SAE. I found the wrenches smooth and easy to use and swap out sockets. The wrench locks on to the socket and stays on. For the price this is a reasonable value. Overall, I am happy with this socket set.

This is a genuinely excellent impact socket set. The machining is clean, the sockets fit well, and everything I’ve used so far has performed exactly the way a good impact set should. The range is generous too — both SAE and metric coverage from the small sizes all the way up to 1‑1/4" and 24mm.The case has one small quirk: most sockets are *very* snug in their spots and take some effort to pull out, while the two smallest (3/8 and 7/16) fall out constantly. It’s a funny contrast, but ultimately a minor gripe.The case itself is otherwise extremely well made. The hinges, latches, and molded interior all feel durable, and it should easily hold up for years of use. And the whole set is **hefty** — it feels like it weighs 25 or 30 pounds. That weight gives you confidence in the steel and the overall build quality.Even with the small case annoyance, this is still a 5‑star set. Great sockets, great coverage, and built to last.

When this box arrived, I almost pulled a muscle picking it up off the porch. That was my first clue that this isn't some cheap, thin-walled socket set that's going to split open the first time you pull the trigger on a high-torque impact wrench.It covers pretty much everything from 3/8 to 1-1/4 inches and 10 to 24mm, without skipping the sizes that usually force you to stop mid-job and run to the store. The 6-point design grips the flats of the fasteners tightly, so I haven't rounded off anything yet, even on some crusty, rust-welded suspension bolts on my truck.The size markings are etched and stamped clearly, which my eyes appreciate when working in a dimly lit wheel well. The included blow-molded case is actually decent too. The sockets snap in securely instead of rolling around like loose teeth every time you haul the box around. It is a solid, heavy-duty collection that fills pretty much every gap in my garage toolbox.

I'm impressed with this set. All the pieces are made of steel. And because of that, the case is HEAVY! That tells me they are definitely made of steel. The pieces seem to be carefully crafted. They were slightly oiled for their protection against rust and corrosion. The sockets are marked with their sizes and they are well etched into each one. No more squinting to see the sizes. They are easy to see. The sizes are also marked on the casing that holds the sockets. Another good thing about the case is each socket can be locked into place. No more bouncing around in the case.The case the sockets come in is made of strong plastic. I was expecting cheap, but this is not cheaply made. The case is suitable for the socket set. The case also has two ring latches on the front supplemented by two plastic latches on the side. A foam piece separates the top and bottom sets inside the case.The description page says this is for auto repair and it is extremely suited for that. However, I don't do a lot of auto repair, but I do work on other things including my travel trailer. I'm using these for my average work around the house. These sockets may be overkill for average work, but that's okay with me. I rather have tools that are stronger and bigger than what I need than to work with ineffective tools.These are definitely a great value for the money.

This is a hefty 1/2" impact socket set. It will be used extensively working and my tractor and other activities around the homestead. As stated above, all of these sockets are impact rated so they should last forever. Deep well as well as standard sockets are included. The sockets are stamped with their sizes instead of laser etched. The exception are the stripped bolt/nut removing sockets which are laser etched. A swivel adapter is also included aside from extensions and 3/8" adapter. The set comes in a very nice blow molded case so you will know when something is missing. This thing weighs about 30 lbs - so again: hefty! Lugging it around is a job.Some of the sockets are very difficult to remove or insert into their proper location but I suspect that this will get better over time. This is the only aggravating thing that I found. It includes both SAE and Metric sized sockets so this set will service almost anything. The 1/2" ratchet is smooth with a 5 degree ratcheting action. Good enough for close quarters. Overall, the quality seems to be very good and I will update if I find any problems later on. It is very complete and competitively priced. A good buy for those of us that do not need the high end professional tools set.
