This is a good small screw extractor set for the price. It includes all the sizes you might need up to 19/64ths (No.6) and comes in an okay plastic box. The two smallest size drills and extractors are packaged in a plastic bag, while the five larger size drills and extractors are securely kept in place by size labeled fitted slots inside the box. The set includes an adjustable Tap Wrench that also has a secure storage slot in the box. The box is held closed by a sliding latch.Each extractor has a corresponding size Left Hand drill bit. This means if using an electric drill, after securing the drill bit in the chuck, set the drill to run in Reverse to drill the hole.Using screw extractors is not an exacting science. The technique I use is dependent on the challenge. I recommend watching a few YouTube videos on screw extraction if unsure on how to proceed.The screw extractors and drill bits look like good quality with good machining and finish. The Tap Wrench in my set does not adjust smoothly, and is just adequate.I use hand tools every day and am influenced by the details. If everything had a designated place in the box and if the Tap Wrench been a little better quality, I would have given this set 5 stars.

The screw extractors & hss drill bits come contained in their own storage/carry case. With this set of high strength drill bits, you drill into the center of the stripped screw or bolt, then insert the screw extractor and back out the screw. The parts all appear to be well made and durable. There are seven different sizes along with a handle for doing the extraction. The handle is so you can do it slow and easy. For the price paid you are getting a great value for your money.

I have needed screw extractor sets in the past when I have stripped screws. I have a set for much larger screws, but I did not have a set that would handle smaller screws. This set bridges the gap for me. It’s a good set that gets the job done, handling medium and small screws effectively.The set includes 7 extractor bits (19/64”, 1/4”, 5/32”, 7/64”, and 5/64”), 7 reverse drill bits, and a tap wrench. They come in a nice hard case that keeps everything very secure and protected. There’s no documentation, no manual or anything; if you’re buying this you should already know what you’re buying and why.There are five different sizes of each bit. The 7/64” and 5/64” bits of each type are duplicates and are included in a little baggie in the case.The reverse drill bits work as they should and dig into metal screws and bolts, leaving holes that the extractor bits can catch in and extract the offending fasteners with a lot less work than using a torch and drill. These work as designed. The tap wrench is a new tool to me. It works well as a holding tool for steadying alignments, and it also works as a gripping and turning tool. I am still learning to use it effectively.This is a decent screw extractor set that is well-suited for small and medium-sized screws and bolts. It includes the reverse bits to match with the extractor bits, and it also includes a tap wrench. It is not a comprehensive set, but it can handle most home tasks I can throw at it.

I have wanted a stripped screw and bolt extractor set like this for a long time.Up until now, I’ve mostly relied on the time-honored fastener removal method passed down through generations: keep digging at the screw, grind at it, turn harder, strip it even more, sweat a little, question your life choices, and then somehow get the screwdriver to bite at the very last possible second before there is no screw head left.A beautiful tradition, really. But alas, it may finally be time to move on.This is a really nice extractor set, especially for the price. At around $18, I honestly did not expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. When I ordered mine, there was not even a product photo yet, so I was taking a bit of a chance. Once it arrived, though, I was impressed. The machining looks excellent, the pieces feel solid, and the whole set looks and feels much nicer than I expected from a budget tool kit.The molded case is also a big plus. I’ve had individual extractors before, and the problem with individual specialty tools is that they disappear into the toolbox void exactly when you need them. This keeps almost everything organized in one place. I say “almost” because two of the smallest drill bits and two of the matching extractor pieces do not seem to have dedicated molded slots, so they kind of ride loose underneath some of the others. I wish the case were slightly larger or laid out a little differently, but honestly, that is a minor complaint. Everything still fits, and the important thing is that the set stays together.As a DIY homeowner and hobby woodworker, I run into damaged fasteners often enough that this is exactly the kind of kit I want sitting ready in the shop. I try to avoid the problem by using better screws with Torx or Robertson heads whenever possible, but that only helps with new projects. It does not help when you are working on the house and run into some mystery screw that was buried in a stud back in 1988 and pre-stripped by the previous owner. Thanks, Bill. This set has everything you need to get damaged screws out easily and efficiently. It even has a great variety of sizes so you really can get any in every type of screw out.The case is very convenient as well and keeps all of the pieces organized easily. It is easy to use and everything feels like it is made of high quality materials that are durable and will last as long as you need them too.I definitely think this is a very handy thing to keep in the tool bag and any tool lover would love this even as a gift! It is definitely worth the value for the money, and I would recommend it to any of my friends and family!

This is a very nice screw extractor set for removing stripped screws--a problem that comes up often in old homes like mine.The set has 15 pieces including an adjustable straight handle tap wrench. The bits and extractors are HSS which in this application I am sure means High Speed Steel. These are left hand drill bits that you use running your drill in reverse (extractors as well). The entire set comes clearly marked in a very nice case. My experience is that the labeled case itself is very valuable since I have had individual extractors before and can't seem to keep up with them to easily find when needed.The set does not include instructions but numerous YouTube videos are helpful. The set is a good value for the extractors and case alone in my opinion.
