TL;DR: Solid, quality LED strip kit with hardware for up to 12 custom cuts. It will work smoothly with Alexa and will be easy enough to install without calling in extra help!Creative projects will always get my juices flowing, and this strip kit will give my upcoming vertical slat wall project the exact accent it needs to brighten up the living room. There are no flimsy wires or cheap materials here; it comes with all the hardware and accessories required to execute up to 12 cuts, which will be plenty for my setup.I have no doubt these will stick well and will deliver the look I am expecting. Setting it up with Alexa for our "Shine On" routine will be a breeze. I even made a deal with my carpenter: if he builds the wall, I will handle the lighting. Looking at the kit and the manual, it will be an easy job on my end—just don't tell him that! These LED strips are SO much nicer than I expected! ✨ They give off a really clean, professional-looking glow and are perfect for creating that built-in, high-end lighting look. This is one of the coolest items! The quality of this LED strip lighting is really top notch. There are a lot of parts which come in the box, but it is super easy to install using the directions included in the box. The lighting in the strip is continuous, there is no weird spacing or gaping between the LEDS. One cool thing to note, each end of the light strip gives a different color. If you plug the power source into one end the light strip will illuminate with a cool white tone. If you plug the power source into the other end, it will give a warm white tone. The smart feature is very nice because it can connect to the remote and be powered on and off using the remote instead of having to bend down and plug it in every time. I especially like there are cut lines provided along the strip so if you want to turn your one light strip into multiple light strips you can, and you can connect them (essentially, daisy chain) them together using the provided hardware. One thing to note, they do not have an adhesive backing because they are designed to slide in between wall slats. There is adhesive in a small tube included in the box. I plan on using 3M wall hooks/clips to hang these up instead of using them in between wall slats. All and all I definitely recommend these and they are a great value for the money.

This kit comes with everything you will need to use it for your project:Almost sixteen and a half feet of silicone enclosed led strip ,controller, variety of connector terminated cables ,clips, screws , splitter ,remote and very importantly- user manual.Power supply / driver is plugged directly into the outlet and in my opinion it's the only weakness of this swtup as you can not hardwire it or you dont have the benefit of small plug and power cord.Ugly white box on your outlet is what you get, not an issue if ysed on piece of furniture that has outlet behind it but for under kitchen cabinets light is kind of not optimal.Now the good ,and that's all that is left :Can be cut in one inch increments and spliced by using attached connector wires. I didn't have enough of them so i modified some of the existing wires bu using the Butt-splice shrink tube solder connectors that i bought previously on Amazon (I highly recommend you get one for your home ,just search it and you'll see that you need it)Connector plugs are little finicky, i found that you have to kind of gently spread metal tabs outwards before insetring them into the strip.I wish there was bunch of Connector plugs included so you could make your own wires but modifying the included ones worked great for me. I pliced two long ones to go around the window to the cabinets on that other side and transformed one long one into a splice wire to go around microwave oven.You can connect the cut sections to the controller in series as well as in parallel, as well as parallel series ,they included a splitter for that.You cannot use double sided tape to mount the strip as i found out, nothing sticks to silicone. That's why metal clips were included.I guess you could hot glue metal clips to whatever you're mounting to if you didn't want to use screws, but clips you need. Or if youre building custom piece , just rout out 1cm slot ,press the strip in place and be done.Controller has bunch of features like memory, sleep timer ,lets you dim and change color temperature, and nightlight to name a few.I believe the remote (needs 2xaaa not included) is radio frequency nor simple IR because it works without clear line of sight.Feture i decided i want tobdo without is motion sensor in the controller box, I didn't see the point of that and covered it up with tape.Ps. They also include tiny tube of sealant of some kind to use if you want to preserve the waterproof rating.I didn't use it, although i used included plug for the last strip in my run.Ps, don't cut the strip while it's powered on, it might short out and damage the driver.

Product is very good, Lighting is bright and still need to decide which room to install and make full use of it. Tried it without cutting the length, behind my projector screen and backlighting is amazing. I would love to recommend this for all. However, i see Remote response is quite slow, Changing lighting intensity or anything takes forever. I'll have to see if there is any issue with low battery power or remote not working properly. Will update my review once i confirm that again. Overall, it's a great solid product with good quality.
