When unboxing, the cord will naturally have some factory packaging kinks in it. A great field trick during installation is the "stack-of-boxes" method: stack up some clean cardboard boxes on your counter or table to support the weight of the glass cylinder at your exact desired height while you secure the wiring up in the ceiling canopy. This keeps the fixture stabilized, prevents it from swinging wildly while you work, and allows the line to hang straight under natural gravity once the support is removed. This method also allows you to use the same stack of boxes to do two and three lights so they're all the same height you don't have to worry about measuring them much easier!But I'm going to be doing something different and I haven't been able to get it done yet because the room is not ready so I'm putting a picture of a light that I did that has a same finish. I am taking a cake pan painting it black and then in the ceiling can I will put a longer twist rod so it'll hold the cake pan just below the level of the ceiling. Now the wire grommet that comes with this light will work in the cake pan you just have to drill three or four holes in the cake.pan the size of the grommet and use the grommet from the light to hold the light up into the cake pan. Hang them at different levels like I did but you'll see I have them at very specific points on the pan to keep it level when you hang it and it puts less stress on the can down rod. I put LEDs in the top of it and I wired the 12 volt converter so it comes on when you turn the lights on and the stunning starburst on the ceiling is really going to set these lights off! I wish I had them done so I could share the picture with you and I will once it's done but this will give you an idea of what I'm going to be doing with these!The Golden Rule of Wire Cutting:When finalizing the connection inside the canopy, you must be incredibly precise with your wire length. If you get overzealous with the wire cutters and snip the suspension cord even a fraction of an inch too short before it's properly seated, you are completely stuck. Because there is no extra slack, a short cut means you either have to pull an entire link of height out of your layout, or you have to completely disassemble the housing, buy new bulk wire, and start the entire wiring job from scratch. Be cautious when you cut—the old saying absolutely applies here: you can always take away, but you can't add to.Verdict:For $29, you absolutely cannot beat the visual value of this integrated bubble-glass rod light. Having previously picked up two similar lights off Amazon, I already knew I liked the concept, but this particular one is probably the worst of the three. While it is still a pretty and nice light, the bubble crystal tube is a little smaller and feels a bit cheaper and lighter in weight compared to the others I have bought. It is not very bright at all and functions strictly as an accent piece, so you definitely should not expect it to illuminate a whole room on its own.On the plus side, installation was easy enough and straightforward if you have done basic lighting fixtures before. It still looks decent once it is up, but given the slightly lower quality feel, the value for the money is just okay. It gets the job done, but I would probably recommend checking out some other brands on here before settling on this one.

More of a "mood light" in that a fairly small amount of usable light is projected straight down while the rest makes this look pretty - so really a decorative fixture more than anything else. Quality seems to be just OK but I will say the acrylic piece is quite heavy. Five stars for the unique height adjustment!! Rather than trimming the cord to length you just press up on the collar that the cord feeds through and it releases the cord for adjustment. When you're satisfied with the height just release your thumb and POOF! that's it. I'd say this is less hassle to install than most pendant lights. If you want something that looks pretty over providing useful light this is it.
