It filters much more finer particulate than a standard one can.The filter fits exactly as the factory one did. It locks in place using the built in locking knob just like the OEM one does. This is a big plus as I’ve had some different brand filters before that just kind of sit loosely on the housing. This one actually is a direct replacement.The price is great at around half the cost of a HEPA filter from DeWalt. I’m usually hesitant about spending the extra money for a HEPA filter, but one of these actually costs less than a standard OEM replacement from DeWalt.
