My wife loves this little sander. She has had trouble in the past trying to hang onto small pieces of sandpaper when sanding round items like chair legs and with this sander, the sandpaper is securely attached to the sander and it makes it so easy for her to sand in crevices and smaller areas. She also loves the great assortment of grits and the fact that they are color coded so it is easier and quicker for her to find the grit that she needs. She says this is the best ergonomic grip that she has found for her arthritic hands, so it doesn't hurt her hands to use this item for long periods of time.

This sandpaper assortment pack contains 128 sheet of various grit sandpaper. The sandpaper is color coded to make it easy to distinguish between the various grit. I have found several uses for this sandpaper in my wood turning and woodcarving hobbies. The strips are the perfect size for fine detail on smaller projects. The sandpaper holds on to its grit for a good duration so I didn’t find myself replacing the sandpaper as often. I would say this kit is great for the fine detail and those with fine detail. It is also effective as a quick cleanup for carpentry as well.

This set is very handy for sanding inside corners and other tight areas on both small and large projects. The selection of grits is good, and the hook-and-loop backing makes changing sheets quick and easy. All of the sandpaper is clearly labeled and packaged well. As a woodworker, I would prefer more 150, 180, and 220 grit sheets and fewer superfine grits, but overall this is a very useful set.

Having 18 different grits from 60 all the way to 5000 in one box is so convenient, I don't have to hunt around for the right grit anymore. The color coding makes it super easy to grab what I need and the hook and loop backing holds well on the included sanding blocks. The finger tools are also a really nice touch for getting into tight spots and detail work. My only small gripe is that the lower grit sheets wear out a bit faster than the name brand ones I've used, especially on hard wood. But for the quantity you get and the range included, it is an excellent value and perfect for my shop.

The set comes with a sanding block that attaches to the small pieces of sandpaper with a hook-and-loop attachment. Wood surfaces sometimes get damaged, and often all you need is to sand off the damage and use a fine grit to restore the surface. This will also work on metal and plastic surfaces if you need to sand a small area that is hard to get to. The very fine grits (2000 – 5000) will indeed give you a mirror-smooth surface. Many years ago, when I was a test engineer on fiber optic systems, we would use 2000 grit sandpaper for a final finish on the end of the optical fiber before placing it into a connector to another piece of fiber. Modern systems don’t require such precision work with fiber optics, but 2000 grit would create an ultra-smooth finish that results in very low loss of light traveling through the fiber. This set of various grits of sandpaper is intended for more conventional sanding work around corners and edges of wood furniture and plastic parts. It is reasonably priced and will make life much easier when doing fine finishing work.

This is the most complete set of sandpaper grits I have ever owned. You can make very precise surface differences to get just the result you are looking for. The utility of this set is widely varied, it is useful in many household or automotive projects as well as hobby use. I find it especially useful for auto and motorcycle paint defect correction.As the photo shows, the sandpaper is organized and clearly marked with its grit. The velcro backing makes paper swaps quick and easy, and the sanding block is flexible rubber which is comfortable and effective. It is a really complete and functional set for the price.
