I needed more light in my bedroom as I have vision problems. This has different types of light. dimming, and a sleep timer. All this is on a remote as well as the stand. It You can also shine it in different directions. This is so handy for finding that thing in a dark corner. It was also well packaged, easy to assemble. I chose the black and it is perfect. I was blessed to get it with a coupon and saved $49.99. The price is fair even at full price.

I appreciate how easy this lamp was to assemble. The base is heavy and there is no issue of tipping over. I do wish it had more flex on top as the non bending metal is very tall. I don't plan on using the remote since it's so easy to adjust with a touch on the lamp. You cannot replace the lightbulb, but it is supposed to last for thousands of hours and only uses 7 watts. I was hoping to place this lamp behind a dining table but the base is too wide, so I'm using it elsewhere. I do appreciate the choices of warm to bright white lighting and the dimming button. It's also handy to unscrew the head to change the size of illumination. I have another lamp from this company and appreciate the high tech, but how hard is it to touch a lamp pole? Remote not necessary. There is a 50% off coupon now.... Use it. That is a value!

Overall, this is a really nice floor lamp with some great lighting features. The LED light gets impressively bright, and I love that you can easily dim it to suit the mood and there are 3 light options. Being able to adjust the beam size—switching between a broader light and a tight, focused spotlight—is super convenient for reading or detailed work. The controls are responsive and easy to use.My only real drawback is the height and flexibility. At 72 inches, it turned out to be a bit taller than what I idealistically needed for my space. It would be a huge improvement if the pole height were adjustable or if a larger portion of the neck were flexible so you could bend it down lower. That said, as long as the fixed height works for your room setup, the excellent light quality and adjustable spotlight feature make it a really solid 4-star lamp.
