My handheld shower head had gotten clogged with mineral deposits, and no matter how much I descaled, it was spitting a lackluster water spray. This upgrade not only looks better with nice shiny chrome handle, head, and hose, it is a much larger head with working spray patterns! Installation is literally screw off the old hose and head and screw on the new ones. Couldn't be easier. Being in drought-prone Southern California, I also appreciate the easy "pause" switch which can let me stop the water to soap up, and then easily restart it... saving money on water and electricity. The 7 modes / spray patterns give you everything from "I'm running late! Soak my hair in an absolute deluge so I can get this done fast" to "I worked out too hard yesterday. Can you massage my shoulders for a minute?" Have only had it on for a couple weeks, so I can't speak to the durability, but it seems fine. Overall a huge visual and functional bathroom upgrade in a few minutes for relatively cheap. Worth it.

I had thought about getting one of these to make life a little easier, so I’m glad I ordered it. We previously had just a normal shower head that doesn’t have any adjustments to the water stream. All it does it move around. After having my husband install this, I LOVED IT!! He did say it was easy to install and had no issues in doing so. I didn’t expect it to also come with the part that you can use to attach to your wall. I guess I hadn’t looked at the listing as clearly, but that was a nice surprise as well. Not only was this showerhead awesome, but it made me not want to get out of the shower because the setting that felt like a rainfall was divine. Talk about relaxing!! It was easy to reach and though the only part of this entire thing has metal for only the hose, it is still quite amazing. The adjustment on the shower head is easy to change and the tab that you use to change the settings doesn’t feel as though it’ll just snap and break. We’ve been using it for quite a bit before writing this review, and have had zero issues with it.It looks nice in the shower, stays pretty shiny, and I feel this elevated our shower look. It also feels substantial but lightweight and I really appreciated that fact because I bathe my Staffy in the shower with me when she’s due for one. Let me tell you, this handheld shower head has made my life SO much easier instead of using the cup method I was using before. The ability to change the settings and use the gentle stream on her really made a difference, and though she still isn’t fond of baths, she didn’t seem to protest and actually looked like she liked the way the water felt. There is also a button on the handle that you can use to leave the water on but pretty much stops the water flow. SUPER convenient for sudsing her up. (I also liked that particular feature when I am shaving and letting my hair masks take effect). There is also an included holder for the wall that I was able to use and made it that much easier to work with while bathing her.Overall, for the price and the convenient features of this, I would definitely recommend. It looks good, makes life easier and feels great. Highly recommend!! :))

I'm pretty pleased with this AquaCare 2026 High Pressure 7-mode Handheld Shower Head with Pause Switch. I needed an inexpensive, basic shower head to replace the one in the secondary bathroom. This one gets the job done. The longest part of the installation was removing the old one. Our super hard water had calcified the previous one in place. Once it was removed, the new one went on easily. I'm a single woman with no plumbing experience, but I was able to follow the clear, simple (thank you for that!), instructions with no major issues. I didn't use the self adhesive holder, because the one that was already attached from the previous one was still in good shape and it fit perfectly with this handle as well. It's mostly made of plastic, to save money I'm guessing, but it feels very strong, solid, and durable. It looks good, like real stainless steel. The 6 water settings can be changed with a simple slide of the dial lever. If you want to pause the water flow, (it will still drip to prevent pressure build up), there is a slide button on the handle. It's very intuitive and straightforward to use. I haven't seen any leakage, so I'm impressed with both the unit itself, and my nonexistent plumbing skills haha. It's exactly what I needed for a bathroom shower that gets used a couple of times a week after the most. It's pretty inexpensive, but it works great and I'm very pleased with it.

I decided to order this AquaCare 7-mode (6 spray modes + pause) handheld shower head because we needed to replace the shower head in our main bathroom.Installation is a breeze (as long as your old shower head is not stuck on). Remove your old shower head clean the threads on the shower head arm. Apply pipe tape to the shower head arm threads. Hand tighten shower head/hose mounting bracket. Attach shower head hose and head. Attach peel and stick alternative mounting bracket (if needed). Most all of the parts are made from a plastic polymer. This means the entire shower head is very light weight. This could for people to think that this is a low quality product, but for this price point it is a solid product. The shower head easily switches between the 7 modes. The pause switch is a nice touch, but so far we have never had a need to use it.The 6' shower head hose allows for a wide range of movement and really makes it easy to clean the shower/tub afterwards. The included self-adhesive backed alternative shower mounting bracket comes in handy for users that can't stand up in the shower and for children. The only cons I have with this shower head is that there is very little mounting angle change for the head on the shower arm. More shower head mounting angle change is a standard feature on most similar products. Also the Pause slide switch was really stuck upon arrival. I had to use the edge of the kitchen countertop to get it to move. After that first switch the pause button slides smoothly.I deducted 1 Star from my Review Rating for these reasons.Overall this is a solid hand held multi-function shower shed if you will never need to change the shower head angle.

First the pros – the directions are fabulous. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen good step by step directions. The 6 settings are nice and easy to change, plus a pause button. It’s hard (seems almost impossible) the first time, but then easy. The pause button still lets out a lot of water, but not nearly as if the faucet was turned on. Extra wall/bathtub bracket is a bonus; sticks on by adhesive; no screws or drilling (it was a little hard to peel the red film off but finally got it). My husband has a hard time standing so we’ll keep the shower head lower on the wall bracket. When I shower, it’s easy to move it up to the regular position. Plumber’s tape is only needed at the old shower arm and not anywhere on the new shower head. Nothing leaked. Cons – It’s plastic except for the hose so won’t last as long as stainless steel would. Hopefully it won't crack if dropped. To set the angle of the shower head, you are supposed to loosen the ball joint nut and rotate it to the desired location, then tighten it again. I had to find someone stronger than me, because for the life of me, I could not loosen the ball joint nut. It definitely was not hand-tightened. I originally thought the white ring had broken because of being over-tightened, but got it up and angled and no issues. It is much lighter, much higher and sticks out further than my old shower head even pushed down to the lowest angle. Overall, I like it for the price. It offers a lot of options and it’s nice to have it regular for me and yet a low wall bracket for husband (or kids/pets, etc).

This review is for the AquaCare 2026 High Pressure 7 Spray Handheld Shower Head - Detachable Showerhead Wand, Handle Pause Switch, Stay-Clean Nozzles, Extra Long 6 ft. Stainless Steel Hose, Wall & Overhead Brackets/Chrome. Model number 2557, ASIN B0H46Q3J7Z, UPC 786696025571.We got this AquaCare shower head to replace our old, cruddy shower head in our guest bathroom. I don't know how long the previous owners had the old one, but it was at least 20 years old. This AquaCare 2026 shower head installed in under 15 minutes (plus a little time getting the old one off) without any tools. The instructions were super clear and straightforward (photo). There were no leaks.Since the old shower did have a wall bracket already installed that fit this AquaCare 2026 shower head, we just left the old one on, which you can see in the photo. However, the AquaCare 2026 shower head came with a very nice one which is adhesive, and we're thinking of putting it on a side wall of the stall (which is fiberglass) if we need to in the future. The head itself works great. Excellent water pressure, and nice selection of water patterns. The nozzles are made with some sort of "germ shield" antimicrobial quality, but there really isn't a way for me (any consumer?) to test the effectiveness of this feature. The water pause button works just fine. My only comment is that this pause switch is a slider and it might be a little difficult to engage fully if you have arthritis or hand issues. A lever would be better, but I don't know if that's feasible. When the pause is on, the head does drip a little to relieve pressure -- this is supposed to work that way! This is a nice shower head with good features, and not a lot of silly extras such as filters that clog or need frequent replacement (added hassle and expense) or an overwhelming number of patterns for which you need a cheat sheet to use. The shower head we've been waiting for.

The whole item is made of plastic except the hose which is metal. The variable spray patterns are useful and nice but somehow I was not able to move the handle once it's attached to the holder (I tried twist and turn, up and down, left and right, even with a wrench, it just didn't move. To me, it is unmovable), it's fixed and wouldn't turn up/down, left/right, not even a little bit. Which means if the spray angle of shower head is not exactly what you want (few are, to adjust to people of different heights), that's too bad. Unless I got a defective one, it's a design fault. I've installed quiet a few shower heads before both fixed and with a handle so I should know how they work and how to adjust them. This is an inexpensive handheld shower head if you cannot afford the quality ones, but if the position of the handle is not movable, then I probably wouldn't consider it.
