Easy to use

[Size: 1.0mm-SH]
Solid fit from part to part and easy to remove sides if not panel mounting. Overall good value for the kit.

This kit is awesome! This kit is awesome!

[Size: 1.25mm-GH, Size: 1.25mm-GH]
I am always trying to fix something that I probably have no business trying to fix, and inevitably there's a tiny little JST connector that I just dont have, and I end up destroying.. This kit has a great variety of connectors both male and female, PLUS wires of various colors already terminated with the tiny pin that I could NEVER have hoped to crimp on manually. They even included a bunch of pre-cut shrink tubing to let me properly shield the wires I am fixing. This is one of those things I like to order to have on the shelf, even if I have no idea what I'm going to use it for, because on the day I need it, if I dont have it, that will end my day until I wait for the amazon truck to bring it to me in 2 days!!

Makes making cables fast.

[Size: 1.25mm-GH]
Even if you have the right fancy crimping tool, these tiny connectors are a pain. This product solves that and saves tons of time as well as eliminate swear words.Used to make a 6 pins cable for some Sensirion sensor.

A Helpful Set for Wiring CleanupA Helpful Set for Wiring Cleanup

[Size: 2.54mm-XH, Size: 2.54mm-XH]
I picked up this 2.54 mm JST connector kit to support several ongoing projects—cleaning up the wiring on my Ender 3 fleet, upgrading my R2‑D2 build, and generally undoing the “early‑days chaos” from when I didn’t yet know what JST, XH, or crimp housings even were. Now that I do, this kit has been a huge help in replacing those long, uninterrupted wire runs that make repairs on the Ender 3 way more annoying than they need to be.The pre‑crimped wires are the real value here. Being able to choose my own color combinations and snap them directly into the housings saves time and keeps everything modular. I tend to use the male connectors more often, but I’m planning a tool‑head breakout board for an Ender 3 Pro/Neo upgrade—thermistor, fans, probe, LEDs, the whole bundle—and the female headers in this kit will make that project much cleaner. The housings feel durable, and the metal terminals seat with a satisfying snap. Both ends of each wire come pre‑crimped, which is a gift if you don’t own a crimping tool or simply don’t want to spend an evening wrestling with tiny metal tabs. The only minor issue is that the wires have a bit of wiggle once inserted—not enough to pull out, but enough to notice. A small dab of hot glue at the entry point locks everything in place and prevents accidental strain or hidden intermittent faults. It’s a cheap, effective fix.Two bonuses worth calling out: the kit includes pre‑cut lengths of heat‑shrink tubing, which makes it easy to reinforce or insulate connections without digging through a separate assortment; and everything comes in a durable, compartmentalized storage box that keeps the terminals, housings, and wires sorted instead of becoming a drawer‑full of chaos. For anyone doing regular electronics work, that organization alone saves time.At $16.99, the kit is a great value. There are hundreds of pieces, and they’re useful across 3D printing, robotics, Arduino projects, model trains, R/C builds, and general electronics repair. If you’re cleaning up old wiring or building something new with modularity in mind, this kit earns its keep.

Perfect fit. Some limitations.Perfect fit. Some limitations.

[Size: 2.54mm-XH, Size: 2.54mm-XH]
This offers a good array of pin counts and wire colors.Pre-crimped wires snap easily into the plastic to make custom connectors. I found an existing connector from an old battery (the red and black one in the photo) and it fit in perfectly with the socket from the kit. Granted, that's a sample size of 1, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it fits the standard perfectly! They also included some shrink tubing which doesn't have much purpose. If you've got more than 2-3 wires, it won't fit.The biggest trade-off of this kit is that the wires are 5 inches and pre-crimped on both ends. That's convenient and saves a fiddly step, which is great. Unless you don't happen to want a wire that's exactly 5 inches long. Then, too bad for you.I think I would rather have been given some ends and a crimper tool. But that's just me.

Headline: Solid Pre-Crimped Wires and Excellent Organization, but Connectors Can Be Fiddly

[Size: 2.54mm-XH]
First Impressions & Build QualityThis kit makes a great first impression right out of the box, largely thanks to the excellent container. It keeps all the various pins, housings, and wires neatly separated, and the included documentation chart mapping out the contents is a fantastic touch for staying organized. The core materials—the wires and the connector housings—appear to be of good quality. The wires are nicely crimped from the factory and feel solid. However, the included accessories leave a bit to be desired; the tweezers feel like a low-quality throwaway addition, and the included heat shrink tubing is just passable.Performance & UsabilityIn practice, these are the perfect size for a wide variety of electronics projects. Because the wires are solidly pre-crimped, you get a reliable connection without having to manually crimp tiny pins yourself, which is a huge time-saver. The main drawback during actual use is that the connectors themselves can be somewhat difficult to work with. Seating them or manipulating them requires a bit more effort and patience than expected, which can slightly slow down your workflow when dealing with tight spaces or larger pin-count housings.Pros & ConsPros:Excellent storage container with a helpful documentation chart.Wires feature solid, high-quality factory crimps.Perfect scale and variety for numerous DIY electronics projects.Cons:The connectors can be difficult and fiddly to work with during assembly.Included tweezers are of very low quality.Heat shrink tubing is mediocre.

Good connectors. Nice pre-terminated wires with tinned ends. Throw away tweezers and heat shrink....

[Size: 1.0mm-SH, Size: 1.0mm-SH]
These jst sh 1 mm connectors are good. The one millimeter variants are surface mount female jacks not through hole as the 2.54 mm types are. I can just barely print, heat transfer, and etch small enough pads onto copper coated fiberglass PCB blanks to accommodate these. But they are quite space-saving over the larger type. I use for interconnects to other prototype boards from microcontroller Dev boards for data and very low current lines. You wouldn't want to run any serious power through them as the wires are very small. It's good that they include the preterminated wires as these 1 mm connectors are notoriously difficult to crimp. They are 15cm long and use 28 gauge wire. This is more the big enough for this size of connector, anything much larger and it would be difficult to crimp and get into the connector anyway. 15 cm is a little short but you can always cut and splice in a piece to make them longer minding to keep equal length wires when it's important if you do so.The plastic of the connectors seems to be of decent quality, they also include a pair of throwaway tweezers which I could do without and just a few extra wires would be better they do include some little pieces of heat shrink they are not glue-lined so also could be omitted for extra connectors or wires in my opinion. I think just about anybody that's purchasing surface mount 1 mm jst connectors is going to have higher quality glue lined heat shrink on hand as well as tweezers that aren't this bad.Other than that a solid purchase.
