Low Profile Ceiling Fans with Lights and Remote

This is an attractive and effective light and fan for the price! I love the low profile and the size is just right for a bedroom or hallway. The fan speed and other options on the remote are well designed and easy to set. I started with two but will buy more now that these are up. Good lighting!

This light and fan combo is great for our small dinning area. It looks amazing and the settings for the light and fan are awesome. I did not expect the air from the fan to be so strong. It has 6 speeds and even with the lowest speed, papers start lifting slightly from the table. the highest speed can be felt across the kitchen. It is very light weight and much easier to install than the fully caged fans- which I have installed in the past. And the light is bright enough, love it so far so good！

I installed this fan in a small bedroom, and it has exceeded my expectations. Ceiling Fan with Lights is a great addition to any room. It provides good airflow, bright lighting, and the remote control makes it very convenient to adjust the settings. The design is modern and installation is simple. A nice combination of style and functionality

Nice looking and assembly is almost easy except for connecting the 3 light bars with the little slip on pieces. They only go in one way and it's a hit and miss til you get it right. You'll feel it go in and will be happy to get it done. Never did figure out an exact method. Bought a 2nd light and maybe I'll this round will be easier. It's not hard just an engineering marvel. Whoever thinks this stuff up is living in an interesting world.Functionality sound and amazingly quite. Hardly weighs anything and is easy to install. Not like the old mega fans I use to have. It this fell on you I doubt you'd even suffer a bruise but it'll move some air but in a different way than what I expected.Imagine being in the shower with one of those directional tight pattern shower heads. You can step into or outta the breeze like watching it rain across the street. It has a pattern for sure. And it's amazingly quiet but the slowest setting is not what I was expecting. It's low is like the high setting on a conventional fullsized ceiling fan. And high is fast. Great for drying your hair and cooling off. You can hear it too when on anything but 1st setting and really no need to use the highest setting.First surprise was the fan size. If you're thinking it's a "20 inch fan" think again. It could fit a 20 inch fan blade in there BUT you get a 10 inch blade. Therein lies the reason for both it being quite and directional. It's by design. At first I thought it was a mistake but a similar light combo I also bought had the same idea except it uses a 15 inch blade which is 50% louder with the increased airflow to match. I'm guessing if any of these used a 20 inch blade you could use it as a leaf blower with some minor adjustments. In my case I swapped blades between the two so this one is in the kitchen moving serious air which you can hear while it's 10 inch blade is in the living room so it's quiter.. That seems to be the trick for keeping the noise level down. I'm looking to get another small separate blade to use as this 10 inch is far less annoying than the 15. And if I could, and you can't, I'd have a dimmer on any of these to slow the things down and dim those lights which is the next bit of the surprise.What do they say it'll dim to? 5%? Yeah right. Not what I was expecting but theoretically possible. I mean when you're dealing with dimming the sun 5% is still A LOT! Think 60watt bulb kinda dim not 5watt night light (which are too bright) and you'll be shutting it off when you leave the room. Setting it to a nice warm glow ain't gonna happen. Same goes with the other brands. They're all selling you a perfect scenario that in real life doesn't happen.Like the non-stepping light color or dimmer. You get 3 colors and you can see em change. Warm, bright and absurd. Get your sunglasses ready but if you wanna see what you're looking at this light will get it done. Wow. But if you wanna hit the dimmer when leaving the room it ain't gonna happen. Remember when your mom would tell you to shut-off the light when you leave your room? If she's around you'll be hearing it all the time. Like I said 5% of a billion watts is still too much for a night light ambiance setting. You can read by it and it'll be your goto daily setting unless you're sending distress signals to the space station.As for the build quality it's a plastic motor housing. All of it is plastic andvwhy its so lightweight. Longeviety vs a metal housed motor is something well all find out. My guess is it dies sooner than a real fan motor we all have seen and hate to install. This wont come crashing down on you so there's that bonus. Bet itll run hanging from just the wire nuts.So there you have it. 6 speed fan that you'll only use one of and an infinite dimmer that will always be on its lowest setting which is too bright.It looks good so I bought another and sent one of the others with metal housing back. This is so much better looking and quiter too.Some day I'll try a 18 & 8 inch blade and see what happens. If they didn't cost so much I'd already done it.Verdict? It's a keeper but I'll keep looking. Maybe there's a way to reconfigure the dimmer packs. That'd be nice.The end. 😉
