I have a Ring doorbell on the front of my house. I love having the ability to see what is happening out front, so I decided to purchase a second Ring for the back of my house. In order to cover the whole yard, the camera needed to be attached to a pole, so the no-drill option provided by this mount sounded perfect.I followed the installation instructions as specified. First, I affixed the back plate to the pole using the pre-cut tape provided. The adhesive on the tape was so strong I was unable to move the plate once stuck to the pole. Second, I waited the recommended twelve hour curing time before attaching the doorbell. After twelve hours, I attached the doorbell to the mount and was happy with the results. Unfortunately, when I came home that evening, the whole unit was on the ground. At first, I thought the tape on the pole had come loose but actually it was where it was attached to the back plate. Seems gravity and the weight of the doorbell was just too much. There was no extra tape included so it’s back to the drawing board. Overall, I love the mount itself as it gives me the option to manually move the camera side to side to get the best view and had my intention been to use the screws provided it would have been great; however, because I needed the no drill option it did not work for me.

This was the absolute and easiest install to date. 7 minutes from start to end. Fits my 2026 ring plus perfectly. Other products and even the accessories that came with the ring were an absolute mess. Great camera capture. Easy to use and adjust or change batteries. Seriously, game changer.
