So I ended up getting two of these because of the closet. I have one for my bathroom which is a different style from the same company and then I have this one that has the whole rate in the middle instead of off to the side and then you actually have to turn the lock to lock the door which is exactly what I wanted for the closet upstairs to hide Christmas presents in. I love the black color. It matches with my door that is stained black or kind of like a blackish color and the kids will have absolutely no idea how to open it because they'll just think that there's just a hole for no reason and I will not tell them any different. I think this is a very nice set. This is one that I haven't been able to get in yet because I'm not good at putting door knobs on but just by looking at it I can tell it's nice and durable. Playing with the lock part of it, it moves just fine as it should. Goes back and forth with no issue. Once I do have it installed, I will update on how it works but I don't suspect there to be any issues. I just can't deal with not unlocking doors anymore. It's just not working out. I have to be able to hide things in the closet and I can't do that. Plus I have other things that need to go in the closet and be locked up for the kids safety so this will be another helpful thing to have. Now I can't speak on insulation because like I said, I have no clue how to put one of these in but I will have someone put this one in as well. It can't be any harder than the other one was. I'm obsessed with these locks. Only because they don't have keys and they just have pokers that you poke in there to unlock the doors and you don't have to worry about losing the key because you can get something skinny and pop it in and open the door. Plus these keys are easier to hide on top the door frames and the kids will never know they're there. It's a win-win all the way around. Also I wanted to speak on the handles. I like round handles and not flat handles. It's just one day I need to learn how to actually put these together because it can't be that hard but it just seems so difficult but anyway, I'm happy with this all the way around. Also I do not want to open the brown box because all the little pieces and parts are in there and I don't want them lost so I'm including the instruction because it shows you the little key. And we all have something like that laying around in case we lose this. Also it will show you exactly what you need to install this. All that said, this is 100% a company I would recommend for your door locks. They seem easier than other doors knobs to put in but that's just me by watching other people do it but personally I wouldn't know myself because I do not know how to put one in.
