This Wi-Fi tunable controller for 3-pin COB/SMD (CW/WW) let us dim and warm the kitchen strips from a phone instead of a wall clicker. Pairing was manageable, tunable white is the feature we wanted for evening versus task light, and 3-pin matched the tape we already had. Schedules are a bonus we actually use.Wi-Fi lighting is only as good as your 2.4 GHz network. For COB strips that needed a smarter driver, this controller has been a solid upgrade.

This box makes it a simple job to add LED lighting to a room or project. It will control PWM Warm White or Cool white strips and 3 wire PWM WW/CW strips that use 24v, 12V, or 5V's. I do not know why "zones" are used in the advert text or that others state it controls zones.. this box has "WW | WW | CW | CW | V+ | V+" connections;3-wire WW/CW PWM CCT strips: 2 convenient physical connections; both operate together2-wire WW-only PWM strips: 2 convenient connections; both operate together, and potentially more strips via parallel wiring if current capacity allows. So this box will NOT control 4 zones independently.The box itself is well made with secure screw terminals for connections, and very similar to Itead devices.

The Aclorol WiFi Tunable LED Controller is a great way to upgrade and customize LED lighting. It was easy to install and connects smoothly for convenient control. The ability to adjust brightness and color settings makes it simple to create the right atmosphere for any room. It works reliably, responds quickly, and adds a lot of flexibility to my LED setup. Overall, it’s a useful and affordable controller that performs well.

For the DIY LED light strip installer, this controller is a perfect addition to your lighting installation. With a smart wifi controller built in and a phone app to control it, you can easily set up the color temperature and the brightness without using a dimmer switch or physical button controller to adjust the temperature settings. It has two power inputs depending on if you are physically wiring it to a DC power input via positive/negative wires or a plug input from an AC/DC converter. With that said, this isn’t an AC to DC converter and requires a DC input so if you’re installing under the kitchen cabinet LED lighting and directly wiring it to a light switch you’ll still need a converter.

This is a welcome addition to my collection of Tuya compatible items with known quality software support. I have started the process by connecting it to a standard USB power adapter to the Input with the 5.5mm jack for 5VDC. This is enough power to set up this unit with Bluetooth on a phone and the Tuya Smart Life app. After initial set up, it will connect on your WiFi after you enter the ID and password for your system. After it's connected, it can then control the LED string(s) within the app. So far, everything has gone smoothly and it should be compatible with my 3 wire LED strings that are currently being controlled with two separate power blocks on a proprietary system that works (most of the time) but the two strings are controlled by one remote. It works well most of the time, but it will be much better to have the two strings on one 24V power supply through this LED controller and both strings will operate as one in the Tuya app. If you have other functions and devices there can be some interoperability if you want this along with compatibility with Alexa and Google features.

This module seems to work well, and it is very compact. It's compatible with home assistant as well as Alexa, and the wifi signal seems solid; I have not noticed any dropouts in the Wifi, but since I'm currently using the Tuya Cloud integration with home assistant right now it seems slow to respond to changes compared to my other Tuya devices. I will try with LocalTuya soon and report whether it works any faster (as I expect this will help the latency). Installation has been simple enough. Connect a 12v DC power supply to it, and then connect the wifi strip directly to the controller's output. Overall a simple controller that does what I wanted. I'm only using it with cold white LED's but it will handle warm white as well.
