If you're first what I'm ordering, it's not working. But second replacement tools, perfect. Low speed You can drill anything.

It works fine with the DeWalt battery as stated. I expected it to be more low profile than this. It is a bit bulky for my needs. See photos for comparison.

I picked this up because I already have a few DeWalt 20V batteries at home, and I didn't want to buy a whole new drill kit just for one project. This one is just the tool, which is fine by me. It clicks onto my DCB205 battery without any issues, so that was a nice surprise. The main reason I got it was to drill some pilot holes in a tight corner under a cabinet. My regular drill wouldn't fit. This right angle drill is really short，maybe 4 inches from front to back，so it squeezed in there easily. The 3/8" chuck is small but it held my drill bit securely. I like that you can adjust the speed with the trigger, and there's also a little switch to choose between low and high range. I mostly used the low speed for driving screws, and it had plenty of torque. The LED light is a simple touch, but it actually helps when you're working in a dim spot like a crawlspace or behind a washing machine. The grip is comfortable, and you can hold it in different positions because the trigger is pretty wide. It's not super lightweight, but that's probably because it's built solid. I wouldn't call it a daily driver, but for occasional tight-space work, it's been really useful. No complaints so far.
Excellent drill. Way better than I expected. Once I put the Dewalt battery in, it worked flawlessly drilling through steel.
