nice sanding dics

[Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
I like these sanding discs. The quality is nice. The hook and loop works well and holds well. I had low clogging using a hand pole sander without a vacuum. They are easy to install and easy to use. I think round sanders are better than the rectangle style. The walls come out nice and smooth. I use most the 180 for finishing, and the 8 or 120 for the primary sanding. The fit is good and well worth your hard earned money.

This is a versatile, affordably priced assortment of probably every grit you’ll need. It has potentially enough discs to see you through each step of an entire drywall project (depending on the size and scope of the job, naturally). The holes are aligned correctly and the discs are true to size, which is the most important thing. The durability is functional, which is to say that the paper gets chewed up fairly quickly but no worse than other sanding discs. I had no issues with adhesion to my sanding head, at least. It’s the sort of item you know you’ll need to replace frequently during a job, so it’s convenient to have enough backups at each sanding stage. The packaging is minimal, which keeps to price down without sacrificing quality. I’ll take that bargain every time!

Reliable Discs With Great Fit and Grit Range

[Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
This 60-pack of drywall sanding discs has been genuinely useful for projects around the house, especially when you need different levels of sanding without constantly running to the store. The discs fit perfectly on a standard 9-inch drywall sander, and the six-hole pattern lines up the way it should, so dust collection actually works instead of just being decorative. Once attached, the discs stay in place and don’t spin off, slip, or tear at the edges, even when you’re applying firm pressure on tougher spots. The variety of grits in the pack is one of the best parts. You get coarse options for knocking down rough patches and high spots, and finer grits for smoothing everything out before priming or painting. That range makes it easy to move through each stage of a project without feeling stuck with the wrong grit. The abrasive surface feels consistent, and there aren’t random soft patches or strange texture changes that sometimes show up in cheaper sanding discs. Each disc cuts well and keeps working for a reasonable amount of time before wearing down.During use, the discs don’t clog too quickly, especially when paired with a vacuum or dust collection system. The holes help pull dust away, which keeps the surface more effective and reduces the amount of dust floating around the room. The backing material is sturdy enough that the discs don’t rip or shred when you’re sanding edges, corners, or uneven repairs. They also stay flat on the sander, so you don’t get weird ridges or gouges from a warped disc. For drywall repairs, ceiling patches, or smoothing joint compound, these discs have done exactly what I needed. They make the process feel more controlled and predictable, and the grit variety means you can get a smooth finish without switching brands or tools. Overall, this set earns a full five stars. It fits well, sands well, and gives you a reliable range of options for different stages of a project.

Larger Than Expected, Great Value for Larger SandersLarger Than Expected, Great Value for Larger ...

[Color: Rust (6-Hole), Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
I didn’t read the dimensions closely, so these sanding discs were much larger than I anticipated. That was my mistake, not the product’s. If you need this size, they appear to be a solid choice. The abrasive surface feels consistent, the hook-and-loop backing adheres well to my smaller sander and the discs seem well made. You get a generous quantity for the price, making this a good value for anyone who goes through sanding discs regularly. Just be sure to double-check the diameter and hole pattern before ordering to ensure they’ll fit your sander. Overall, they seem durable, are packaged well, and should work exactly as intended for the correct tool. I’d purchase them again if I needed this larger size.

Good deal

[Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
Pretty good deal for these, and they fit my 9" Drywall sander perfectly so I can't complain. They hold up just as well as any other brand, and the amount they come with is nice. Worked well on my floors as well as my walls, both of which I'm currently remodeling. I've also used a couple by hand to sand down some stuff around the farm, so fairly versatile (as much as sandpaper can be anyway). The backing sticks easily and very well to my sander, so that makes the job a little nicer.

Smooth Operator: These Discs Get the Job Done 🛠️✨

[Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
Smooth Operator: These Discs Get the Job Done 🛠️✨Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Executive SummaryThese MAKELIFT sanding discs are a fantastic addition to any toolkit. With a comprehensive range of grits from coarse 40 to fine 240, they handle everything from heavy material removal to delicate finishing. The hook-and-loop attachment is secure, and the 6-hole design works perfectly with standard drywall sanders to keep dust under control. Overall, they offer excellent durability and consistent performance for both DIY projects and professional jobs.Key Highlights• Comprehensive grit selection covers all sanding needs from rough shaping to final polishing.• Secure hook-and-loop backing ensures discs stay attached during vigorous use.• Six-hole pattern maximizes dust extraction for a cleaner workspace.• Durable aluminum oxide construction provides long-lasting cutting power.Detailed AnalysisThe variety in this 60-piece set is impressive. Having ten discs for each grit level means you never have to stop mid-project to swap to a different coarseness. The transition from the aggressive 40-grit discs to the smooth 240-grit finish is seamless, allowing for efficient workflow. The aluminum oxide grain holds up well against abrasion, resisting clogging better than cheaper alternatives I have used in the past. The fit and finish are spot on. The 9-inch diameter and 6-hole pattern align perfectly with standard random orbit sanders and drywall pads. The hook-and-loop mechanism is robust; the discs snap on easily and do not peel off even when applying firm pressure. Additionally, the dust extraction through the holes is highly effective, significantly reducing the amount of airborne dust and keeping the sanding surface visible for more accurate results.Final VerdictPros: Wide range of grits for versatile applications, strong hook-and-loop adhesion, excellent dust extraction, durable aluminum oxide material.Cons: None found; these discs perform exceptionally well.RecommendationHighly recommended for homeowners tackling drywall repairs, woodworkers looking for reliable finishing supplies, and professionals who need a dependable, high-volume sanding solution.

A nice sturdy set of sanding discs for a reasonable price

[Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
I haven't had the opportunity to fully run these sanding discs through their paces, but my preliminary impression is favorable. The material is reasonably thick, the cuts clean, the hold nice and secure. The grit doesn't rub off while sanding and the discs seem to be durable enough to handle heavier duty jobs. This is not the flimsy paper that tears easily, which is a detail I can appreciate since I intend to use these sanding discs on some rougher wooden surfaces that would tear through thin discs quickly. As an added bonus, the array of grits is suitable for removing old material and restoring a clean, smooth surface. The large 9-inch size of the discs means that they're primarily suited for large bulk-type jobs, not so much fine detailed work, but if you're ordering 9-inch sanding discs, you probably know what to expect. One observation I did make, though it isn't really a mark against the sanding discs considering that they're intended to be used flat on orbital sanders, is that the thick material and the coating to keep the grit attached makes the sanding discs a little bit brittle. Don't expect to fold these discs in half, then use them flat afterward because cracks do develop along the fold lines. It's also fair to say that most of the sanding discs I've used over the years tend to develop cracks to at least some degree along fold lines when I grab a disc to do some quick hand work.Overall, I'd say I'm quite satisfied. The price for this set is decent, as is the quality. Though I don't go through a whole lot of 9-inch discs in my work, this is a set that I wouldn't mind ordering again when the time comes.

probably more suitable for professional projects

[Color: Rust (6-Hole)]
As a home DIYer I like to have a small stockpile of equipment and accessories for any project that happens to surface. Since a lot of my projects involve sanding things down, I end up using sanding disks beyond their normal lifespan simply because I don’t usually have many extra lying around. These discs are going to make some of my DIY projects go much faster. While I have a good use for them, they are probably more suitable for professional projects because the size is quite a bit larger than discs I normally use. Because they are so much bigger, I needed to get a larger bit for my sander which you may need to consider if you want these. Also, the large size kind of limits the kinds of projects because it is normally too big for smaller surfaces. I got these discs mainly for a project removing old paint from a large porch floor and finish sanding in preparation for resurfacing. This set includes a very useful variety of grits, 40 through 240. The 40, 60, 80 grits remove material quickly and are great for heavy sanding or smoothing out joint compound, while the 120, 180, 240 grits help achieve a much cleaner, more polished finish before painting. Having all these options in one pack saves time and extra trips to the store. The backing works well and attaches securely to my sander without slipping. Swapping discs is quick and easy. The 6-hole design is apparently there for dust extraction when paired with a vacuum system. However, I don’t have a dust extraction system so the holes are not an issue.Keeping in mind that these discs may not fit the needs of every DIYer, they are a cost-effective disc set that would work well on large projects. It’s also a good set to have if you need a wide range of grits.
