We picked up this nipify 5W outdoor spotlight through the Vine program, and while we haven't installed it yet in its permanent spot, we definitely wanted to put it through a test run first. We set it up for a night out in our flower garden to see what kind of illumination it provides, and we were genuinely very pleased with its performance.​The warm white light is bright and crisp without being harsh or sterile, highlighting the surrounding plants and foliage with a lovely, welcoming glow. The 9.8-foot cord gives a decent amount of reach for positioning, and the spiked stand feels sturdy and secure in the soil. It handled the outdoor elements without any issues during our test night, and we are looking forward to getting it set up in its final location once our current outdoor projects wrap up. Overall, it is a solid, well-performing landscape light that delivers right out of the box.

These are a great option if you want bright landscape lighting without dealing with hardwiring or the inconsistent performance of solar lights. Setup is simple—just attach the stakes, push them into the ground, plug them into an outlet, and aim them where you want the light.The housings feel much higher quality than I expected. They're made from metal with real glass lenses rather than the lightweight plastic that many inexpensive landscape lights use. We've had several rainy nights since installing them, and they've continued to work perfectly with no flickering or signs of water intrusion.The light output is impressive for such compact fixtures. They easily highlight landscaping, trees, or the side of the house without looking dim or washed out. Once I adjusted the angle, the lights stayed exactly where I positioned them.The biggest limitation is the cord setup. The two lights are tethered together, so you're somewhat limited in how far apart they can be placed. The cord is long enough for a basic setup, but if you're lighting something farther from the house you'll probably need an outdoor extension cord.Also, keep in mind these are simple plug-in lights. There isn't a built-in timer.Overall, these are well-built, bright landscape lights that offer excellent value. If you don't mind adding a timer or smart plug for automation, they're an easy recommendation.

I set these up along the side of the house to light a small tree and part of the fence near the patio. For 5W lights, they are very bright. The cool white color is crisp and leans more security light than warm landscape lighting, so keep that in mind if you want a softer look.The housings feel solid, with metal bodies and glass lenses instead of the cheap plastic feel some yard lights have. The stakes went into my soil fine after a little watering, but I would be careful in hard ground because they are not especially thick. Once aimed, the beams held position well through a couple rainy nights.Setup is simple since there is no hardwiring. Just stake them in and plug them into an outlet. The tradeoff is the cord setup. The two lights are tethered together, so placement is limited. The cord is usable for a basic setup, but it is bulky and I would need an extension cord for anything farther from the house. There is also no switch, timer, or dusk sensor, so I used an outdoor smart plug.I would give these 4 stars. The brightness and build are very good for the price, but the cord layout and lack of built in control keep them from being a no brainer for bigger yard setups.

nipify 2 Pack of Outdoor Spotlights, 5 W LEDs with Spiked Stands, Review:These are very bright and are helpful for gardening at night outdoors, and they can also give an elegant ambience. I mainly grabbed these for working at night in my garden, though, and I can't wait to use them.In the summer heat, doing my gardening at night has become a must, so reliable outdoor lighting has become a necessity. I am excited to use these since they are run off of electrical cords (as opposed to my other outdoor lights which are mostly solar powererd, which is great, but because my yard is very shaded by oak trees, it can frequently mean that the lights never kick on or don't stay on as long as I need them). Now if that happens, I have a very bright back-up that I can point at exactly what I'm working on for reliable, hands-free light.I tested them really quickly in my house and they are very bright. If the brightness is adjustable, I haven't figured out how to do it yet. You simply set them where you want them to illuminate, keeping them steady using the stakes, and they turn on immediately when you plug them in.They could also be used to illuminate the multiple oak trees in my yard, or to spotlight a pathway or maybe even light up a space from above, if tucked into a hanging planter.I could also use them for decorations at Halloween or Christmas time to cast fun shadows on a wall or curtain (by placing small shapes cut out of, say, cardboard in front of the lights to cast shadows on a wall for cheap but highly effective and fun decorations). I think I've seen people use them for exactly that on Pinterest.I'm really looking forward to using these this summer (and probably on Halloween), and hope they allow me to get a lot more done in my garden.It would be nice if they could daisy chain. The way they are, for my main usage, I have to take out an extension cord with more than one outlet if I want to use both--and that isn't always what I have available. Also, they will have to be close together if coming from the one cord, which will likely work for us, but could prove to be a pain if we need to move around the garden a lot. I'll include photos.Oh, also, they don't turn on at dusk and off at dawn. There is no sensor. So, unless you already have a timer or easy wall switch in front of where these will be plugged in or have our kind of use case, you may not be too keen on these, especially at this price point of 2 for $25.99. The lack of a sensor is fine for us for the night gardening because we will be using them sporadically with an extension cord rather than keeping them hooked up for nightly use. But, if we decided to change that, I guess we'd need a timer to hook them into for nightly usage...because turning them off and on every day is not where I'm at in life. And they're waterproof, but the plug isn't.

Wiring connections at the transformer end were straightforward, using standard low-voltage landscape-lighting connectors that matched my existing setup without any adapters.I did weigh a warmer 3000K spotlight option before choosing the cooler 6000K version, and for highlighting bark texture and architectural stonework specifically, the cooler white brought out far more detail and contrast than a warmer tone would have. That said, I'd honestly choose the warmer option instead for general ambient landscape lighting elsewhere in the yard, since cool white can look a little stark and clinical next to warm patio lighting, so it's worth choosing the color temperature intentionally for the effect you actually want.One practical note: the stakes needed to go a bit deeper than I expected to keep the lights fully upright in looser garden soil, so I'd have a small mallet on hand if your soil isn't already well settled, and it's worth keeping the wiring and seals clear of standing water. I ordered this 2-pack of nipify outdoor spotlights to illuminate some trees and features in my yard. While the lights themselves perform adequately, the design of the wiring leaves a lot to be desired.The Good:Solid Illumination: As far as functionality goes, these spotlights work well. The 5W LED output is bright, and the 6000K cool white light gives a very crisp, modern look that highlights trees and garden beds beautifully.Build Quality: The fixtures feel decent for the price, and the spiked stands push into the lawn easily and hold the lights securely in place.
