I picked up this two-pack of wire twister tools to speed up some fencing and tie-wire work, and they make the job significantly easier. The 1/4-inch hex shank pops right into a standard cordless drill chuck or impact driver without needing any special adapters, so setup takes just a second.Having both the number nine and number eleven sizes in the pack covers the standard heavy-duty wire gauges you encounter for farm fencing, rebar ties, and heavy outdoor maintenance. Running the drill on a lower speed gives you total control over the twist, pulling the wire tight and creating clean, consistent knots in a fraction of the time it takes using hand pliers. The biggest benefit is how much wrist strain it saves you when doing repetitive ties along a long fence line or rebar grid. The solid steel construction feels durable enough to handle high torque without slipping or binding up on the wire. If you have a large fencing project or structural rebar job coming up, chucking one of these into your drill is a simple upgrade that cuts your labor time in half.

These wire twister tools work great, even when working with thinner wire. I really like that the set includes two different sizes because it gives me more flexibility depending on the type of wire and the project I am working on.I do a lot of wire twisting, so being able to connect the tool to a drill saves me a lot of time compared with manually twisting the wire with pliers. Instead of repeatedly using my hands and wrists to twist each piece, the drill does most of the work. For me, one of the biggest advantages is that it helps protect my wrists from repetitive strain. If you are doing a small project, you may not notice as much of a difference, but if you are twisting a lot of wire, the time and effort saved really add up.Both sizes are useful, and the tools are simple to use with a standard drill. Overall, this is a very useful tool for anyone who does frequent wire twisting.

This is a nifty little tool for twisting metal wire together. I do a lot of electrical work and also have chickens with wire fencing, so every once in a while I run into a situation where I need to twist wire. This should be a very useful tool for those situations. It comes as a two-pack. Unfortunately, one of the two bits had an issue where the shank didn't want to stay securely retained in my drill. The other bit worked perfectly fine. Looking closely at the one with the problem, it appears the retaining groove/indent is slightly too narrow for my drill chuck to grip properly. In actual use, the tool worked very well. With the drill running, it took only about a second to fully twist approximately one foot of 12 AWG solid-core copper wire.Overall: A simple but very handy tool if you occasionally need to twist wire. Both bits should work well when properly retained by the drill, although I did have a problem with one of the two pieces not staying securely in my drill chuck.
