The fabric is breathable and stays cooler than traditional cotton shirts. While it is lighter weight and breathable i still do not stay the coolest. The fabric will let all air pass through but restrictedly. The long sleeves do help keep the uv off which is nice. The reflective tapes work very very well. If im not wearing sunglasses and i move my arm wrong i get blinded instantly. The hood is spacious and does not have a drawstring so you dont have to worry about it suddenly catching on something and closing around your face. The size of the shirt is very spacious thankfully. I do not do tight or even remotely close to what my actual size is so getting the 3xl is perfect for me. The fabric is comfortable and durable. The materials are slick almost like spandex very nice to wear. I cant really complain honestly because the shirts are very nice. I think these would work great for early fall or milder weatger to say the least. I am super hot blooded though so it takes alot for me to stay cool to begin with. The price for a 3 pack is definitely fair and in the end i feel is worth the value.

This is a great lightweight, breathable, hi-vis long sleeve shirt. The hood is great to help protect from sunburn on the back of your neck while working outside. The back-side pocket could be useful for a small water bottle. The polyester and the reflective markings will last longer if the shirt is hung to dry instead of putting the dryer. I am marking this product down to 4 stars as the size chart is inaccurate. I ordered the XL, but it only measures 46" armpit to armpit, not 50" and the torso length (seam at neck where meets the hood to the bottom hem) is 28", not 31". The sleeve length is is 25" as stated. I guess it's a good thing the fabric is stretchy. My advice is to order up a size. $25 is a decent price, but I usually wait for end of the year sales at the sporting goods store to replenish my stash for work.

Doesn't feel stiff or hot and it wicks sweat really well which matters when you're pushing hard. I've worn it on longer rides and never felt like I was cooking inside it.The fabric is lightweight and soft enough that you forget you're basically wearing a safety vest. Doesn't wrinkle either so if you throw it in a bag it comes out looking fine.Washes easy and still looks just as bright as when it came out of the box which was my concern since I wash it pretty regularly.If you're out early or late and want cars and other people to actually see you this is a really solid option.

For me, a hiking sun shirt.I bought XXL when I normally wear XL (or a L for a closer T-shirt fit). This is because even though I am 6' and 200 lbs, I have monster long arms. And this, being part of my sun protection, needs long arms.This is what I appreciate about this shirt, and "going large":- Better sun protection. When fabric stretches, it lets more light through, as seen in the photo. Looser means less light through.- Going up a size. The shirt fits loose, but not overly so, and I think this will help with evaporation of sweat (and with layering if needed).- The 30 UPF rating. I cannot measure this, but it is far more conservative than other shirts, which I appreciate.- Stretchy polyester/spandex. This makes putting it on a breeze and drying faster than cotton.- Ample sized hoodie. I can put it on under - or OVER - my helmet or my hiking hat, even the wide brimmed one.- Reflective strips that are not solid. The reflective strips have gaps which helps breathing between the strips, since the fabric can't breathe through the strips.The only thing I miss on this shirt are slots for thumbs, which help keep the shirt under the thin gloves I use to protect my hands from the sun while working/hiking. That will be a future quick mod with a sewing machine.I do expect the bright yellow to fade somewhat, as that's the nature of UV in sunlight, but will need more time to tell.I may look kinda silly hiking in a high-viz shirt, but if something goes wrong, it makes it easier for search and rescue to find me during the day (or hunters to see that I'm not a deer) and if they know I'm wearing reflective garb, they might fly the S&R helicopter with the spotlight a little later past dusk.
