It took me maybe 15 minutes to swap out my garage door rollers with these they do seem to be just as good if not, maybe slightly better quality than the ones that came with my door and I have a nice door. It does noticeably squeak less now that I have switched them all out, and I actually better understand where to oil them in the future, but it is not completely silent as there are other attachments like in the middle of the garage that are still rather squeaky so for people who say that they are noise eliminators they either have less steel on their garage doors or they don’t really notice the difference in the way that they should . That’s sad. I think they should last nice and long very easy to install and overall I would probably do it again if I had to.

Our garage door is roughly 16 years old and works mostly as it should. As the door moves it rumbles and clanks quite noisily. The neighbors two doors down can hear when we open or close it. I would spray white grease on our old ones every few months but it never kept the noise at bay for long.Then these little rollers showed up and I really didn’t know how bad we needed them. Installation was fairly straight forward on ours we had to remove the hinges one at a time, pull the old roller and replace with one of these then reattach the hinge. There was no adjustment needed on our door other than lining the hinges back up in the same spot (just looked for the creases the bolts left on the hinge).So far these are quite durable, VERY quiet and seem to he working like the door is new again. This should give our door a longer life span. Great value. Five stars

Like many people I was having problems with my garage door opening smoothly. The door was installed about 16 years ago. I had considered removing all the wheels, cleaning them, greasing them, and reinstalling. When I saw these replacements on Amazon I decided they'd be worth a try. They come very well packaged and the quantity of 12 was more than enough for my 7 foot door (it takes 5 on each side). Replacing the old wheels was very simple with the exception of the bottom wheel on each side. That one requires removal of the bracket that your cable attaches to, or you can do like I did and remove part of the track with the door part way up. The new wheels made a big difference in how quiet and smooth my garage door opens, and I have 2 spare wheels in case I ever have issues. If these last another 16 years I'll be happy, but they may last even longer since the bearings have seals to keep most of the dust out. Overall a good product.

The HFSci-tech 2" Diameter, Nylon Quiet Garage Door Rollers were a perfect 1:1 replacement for the worn carbon steel rollers on my ageing 25 year old garage door. The old rollers showed significant wear and rough edges and were coated black with grease and oil grime from all these years of use. When opening and closing the door the old rollers screamed and banged through the cycle in spite of the heavy lubrication given them. The Door did not open smoothly as it bounced and rocked against the tension spring of the opener.The installation of the new nylon coated rollers was as simple as it gets using a hand electric nut driver which easily removed the hinge attachment screws at each door panel joint. Once the hinge was loosened it was a simple matter to tilt the old roller out slip it out of the hinge, insert the new nylon roller and retighten everything in place.The results were very satisfactory. The new rollers both relieved the jerky motion of the door but made it much quieter than it was before.This was a simple upgrade which should extend the life of the door and track and at a reasonable price. I would recommend this purchase.
