I got this desk power outlet because I needed more outlets in my home office desk. My desk did not come with any as modern desk do so I got this one and installed it myself. Installation was fast and easy. My desk did have a predrilled hole in the corner, so it was easy to just po it inside and connect it to the wall outlet. It was that easy. Now I have more connections to be able to connect several electronics like my 2 Cricut machines. This desk power outlet is well made, it's made of durable hard plastic, and it looks nice on my desk. It is such a practical accessory and one that is a must for a desk if it doesn't come with some already. Overall, it works great, it's such an excellent convenience to have additional outlets and to have quick access to them is a huge plus. I really like it and it works great. I highly recommend it.

I installed this grommet on the side of the desk in my home office, and I really love it so far. Having cables strewn about all over the place can make a space feel cluttered and disorganized. They are an integral part of modern life, but that doesn’t make them any less annoying. Rather than having long cables running from the desk to charging blocks connected to a power strip, this allows me to charge my devices with much shorter ones that won’t get tangled up or in the way. It is much easier to be productive in a space that is uncluttered as well.The 45w charging speed seems pretty accurate when a single device is charging with only one cable plugged into a port. That is decreased when there are cables plugged into two or all three ports and it seems to be less whether other devices are plugged in and charging or not. However, this is disclosed on the product page, so not a surprise.The installation was very easy using a hole saw drill bit. I am really happy with this and how it allowed me to essentially modernize my old desk for such a great price.
