90 Degree Corner Clamps for Woodworking

These corner clamps are a useful idea and overall seem fairly decent, but they’re not quite as sturdy or easy to use as I expected. The 90-degree design is convenient for keeping corners aligned while working on picture frames, cabinets, and other woodworking projects, and having four clamps in the set is definitely helpful when working on multiple corners at once.The aluminum construction feels reasonably solid, and I like that they include the C-clamps and anti-slip pads. The measuring markings are also a nice touch and make it easier to keep things lined up accurately.My biggest issue is that getting everything positioned correctly can take some patience. The clamps work best when you take your time tightening them and making sure the pieces stay perfectly aligned. They also don’t feel quite as heavy-duty as I expected from the pictures.Overall, they’re useful for occasional DIY and woodworking projects, but I wouldn’t consider them professional-grade. They’re okay for the price, but there are some areas where the quality and ease of use could be better.

These clamps make short work of building any frame, and were so simple to use that I was able to build a frame within an hour. It only took that long because I was using wood glue and left them on until it dried.These were plenty big enough for the cabinet frame I was putting together, at 4x2.25 inches you might think it's a bit small, it is small enough to do small frames but is still big enough to do a cabinet.The included clamps are pretty strong, I probably cranked down on it more than I should have, but they held out quite well. This is a great value and something you should have in your toolbox.Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.

I have been frustratingly using the plastic pieces with springs to try and square my corners. They have been difficult to use, they have broken, and I have replaced them with the same thing because I hadn't found any better. Until now.First thing Insaid when I opened the shipping box and pulled the case out, was "OH, you are beautiful!" Opened the case, and WOW! These look so nice.I didn't have a wood project to do at this time, but I did have a plexiglass project, creating a light cover for the driveway light for Halloween.First, it comes with instructions, but they leave out how to use the grip pads. You have to put them on yourself. There are eight. So, I thought, one on the inside of each of the clamps. However, when I tried to use them, the one side didn't fit through the opening in the corner bracket. So, I had to remove those four.After that, they were so easy to use. There is a little jiggle to the scre part of the clamp that I wish weren't there, but not enough to make me love these any less.I didn't use any of the measurements on the sides of the brackets or corner brackets, but I used the corner brackets to help me square some ofnthe pieces after I cut them. That was an amazing benefit that I hadn't had before.I did have to use an extra external clamp for my project, but that had to do with the flexibility of the material and not the product.These are so well made, and come in a nice storage box. I cannot stress enough how easy they were to use. I will be using these often and for years and years to come! Great quality and a great value. Worth every penny. I may get at least one more set so that I have plenty for multiple projects at a time.

I'm still giving these five stars because the image provided is a bit of an exaggeration. While still being an actual photo, it just shows that there are two locations that have a bit of play, since the threaded rod only goes through a single hole on the mounting bracket, and the alignment plate is on somewhat of a swivel at the end of the same threaded rod. This gives two locations where there both pieces can come out of alignment somewhat. However, when using one of the brackets provided, in red, these line up fairly well, and the brackets themselves are quite true and are made of thick enough metal as not to travel too much, which forces alignment and brings these pieces back into resolution. However, for extreme precision work, this may be an issue. Although, for most purposes this is fine. This does put the overall quality somewhat at medium, but again for the price that's being asked for these, I'm not really too terribly concerned and not willing to remove a star because the incredible value attained is worth a little bit of extra play, especially for users who aren't going to be incredible power users of this tool and only need it for the occasional project.

As far as basic function goes, they do exactly what I needed by keeping corners aligned while I fasten everything together. That said, I was disappointed to find that the measurements printed on the pieces aren’t accurate enough to use as an actual measuring tool. Using them as corner clamps was the main reason I got them, but I thought those markings would help speed things up during layout. Unfortunately, they’re more decorative than functional, so you’ll still need a real square or tape measure on hand.Aside from that issue, the clamps work well and feel like they’ll last. They’re sturdy, they grip tightly, and they make assembling frames and boxes much easier. If the printed measurements were accurate, this would easily be a five‑star product.
