Love this system it has helped me with the rust on all the faucets. The water contains a lot of clorine and this filter also helps my water taste great.

Great product, great company, but unfortunately the initial product did not meet my requirements.The water filter I purchased was to replace a higher flow unit, that only had 2 filters. This filter is awesome, in that it certainly improved the taste and other qualities of my well supplied water. But the filtration slowed the rate of water flow to an unacceptable degree. My well water fouled the filters pretty rapidly.When I explained the situation, the vendor sent me a replacement unit with two filters. At this point, it is in transit, but I will update when it arrives.Again, this product is well made, installation was very standard, and the construction is rugged, as you can see in the attached photo. Customer service and communication were 100%

I’m sure this filtration system is great. What was not so great is that my delivery driver took no pic as usual. And he left the plastic Amazon zipper box. I do not want this zipper box at all.

We use these carbon block filters in our water filtration setup on our RV while traveling on the road for our YouTube travel channel, and they perform reasonably well. The filters arrived well-packaged, although they came with very little supporting material or documentation in the box. It is worth noting, however, that they did include a plastic filter housing wrench in the box, which was a very nice touch.We typically use standard 1-micron filters in our multi-stage setup and decided to try these since they are rated at a tighter 0.5 microns, which should theoretically offer better filtration. After installation, we performed our standard flush of about 3 gallons of water to clear out any initial carbon dust before testing the flow rate and water taste. The taste of the water coming out of the tap was good. We never drink directly from the tap in the RV anyway, as our hookup water always passes through a secondary, more advanced purification system before we consume it.The flow rate testing yielded an impressive 11.5 gallons per minute using our fairly high water pressure hookup. This high flow rate actually surprised us and left us a bit skeptical. With our standard 1-micron filters, we usually only get between 8 and 10 GPM. Achieving a significantly higher flow rate on a filter that is advertised as twice as restrictive makes us wonder if this is truly a genuine 0.5-micron block. Without a laboratory setup, there is no real way for us to verify the micron claims. However, they do effectively improve water taste and odor, and since we use a secondary purifier for drinking water, the micron uncertainty is less of a safety concern for our specific use case.Plusses:Delivers an excellent flow rate of 11.5 GPM under high pressure.Noticeably improves the taste and odor of the water at the tap.Fits perfectly into standard 10-inch by 2.5-inch universal filter housings.Neatly packaged as a convenient 4-pack for extended travel.Includes a plastic filter housing wrench in the box.Negatives:The surprisingly high flow rate makes the tighter 0.5-micron rating questionable.Virtually no documentation or product instructions included in the box.Final verdict: 4 out of 5 stars (rounding up from 3.5) . These filters function well for basic water conditioning, odor removal, and high-flow utility water on the road. They are worth considering as a budget replacement pack, but further independent research may be warranted if you strictly rely on the 0.5-micron rating for fine particle filtration.

Was having hard water problems and chlorine flavor for years, but this device helped sort them our right away. Water is noticeably fresher tasting, and the hard water build up on our taps has slowed dramatically since we installed it. The three stage filtration really gives me peace of mind knowing I'm drinking clean quality water. It was easy to install with the included parts and having clear housings makes it easy to see when filters need replacing. Having two additional filters means I won't have to purchase a replacement for at least 2 years.
