I got this filter pack for my Lennox and I have to admit, the filter is comparable to the O.E.M. construction of my older filters.The filter is sturdy and requires zero assembly. The pleat support is solid and the easy to read instructions made installation a breeze.The filter has great airflow and it fits my Lennox perfectly.I got the 16 x 25 x 5 filter and the price was really awesome!If this filter is as great as it appears to be, I will be ordering more of them in the future.

I have settled on MERC 11 to be my go to filtration level. When you go higher your system is effected and frequently leads to your unit freezing. This unit seemed well constructed and fit well. You can feel that the air quality improved. This filter is a good value, especially when you look at how long it will last and compare it to replacing other filters frequently.

This 16x25x5 furnace filter is rated at MERV 11. I usually buy less expensive MERV 8 or 10 and change them every month or so. I’m hoping I can get a longer life with the 11. I know it will trap more household dust so maybe it will just do a better job of filtering. Either way I decided to spend a few more dollars and see if I can tell the difference. One thing I notice right away is this filter is heavier than the other less expensive filters. That’s because the pleating is much denser and spaced much closer together. This should lead to better filtering and cleaner air. If you are prone to allergies or have people in your household with respiratory issues, this could be the filter for you. I don’t think it will last longer but looking at the design it will certainly capture more dust particles. The filter is made with quality. The exterior cardboard case is sturdy and not easy to collapse like the less expensive filters. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Very nice filter, and it absolutely does fit on a furnace style AC unit like mine. Very durable and fantastic value for the money since the cloth like accordion style filters are extremely expensive. I did order the wrong size but that is on me and not the filter, I still tried it to see if the thickness fit and it did, perfectly. My original size filter is 20x25x4, but if you get one of these boxes, get the x5 and it’ll be a great fit. Airflow is fantastic and seems like a very durable and very high quality filter. Like I said, I ordered it 4 inches too short but I will for sure order the correct size now that I know it fits. Save some money.

I am extremely happy with this filter. It fits perfectly in the AC24 air cleaner that’s in my American Standard HVAC system. Merv11 is right in the sweet spot where it traps almost everything without restricting airflow and being hard on your system which results in your expensive HVAC system burning out parts much faster than it should. The construction quality is solid and it seems to be very well made. At the 5” depth I expect to get at least 9 months out of this filter despite our having 3 big in-house dogs. The price is tremendous right now at ~$40. You absolutely will not find an equivalent filter in any big box store for that number. In fact, they usually start around $50 for a decent one and even then you often have to buy a two pack at $100 to actually get the $50/filter price. I’d absolutely recommend these filters to anyone in need and given the price it’d make an awful lot of sense to snag 3 or 4 and not have to worry about it again for a few years.

Unlike many budget filters we have seen, this one comes completely pre-assembled, so it feels more rigid than the assemble-yourself models. It fits perfectly into our Carrier system. The MERV 11 rating is a definite improvement over the filter the installer provided; it feels like the right balance between filtration for clean air and filtering so much that the blower motor struggles. To my untrained ear, there were no observable changes in airflow or system noise after installing it.Installing it was pretty easy, although removing the filter was a little bit of a challenge. First, pulling the filter out was tricky because there was nothing to grab onto. They could easily have fixed this by putting a small, finger-sized half-moon knockout on the sides. Next time, I will use a piece of tape to give me something to grab onto. The other issue was that some of the thin cardboard strips going up and down the front and back to hold the filter material in would get caught on the frame opening. The cardboard frame flexed mostly from the air pushing on it in the direction of the airflow. However, getting caught is pretty common, so I deal with this by keeping a cheap plastic putty knife next to the unit for when I am changing filters.I ordered the single unit, and the price was just below average for individual filters, making this a good value. I ordered this filter for my Lennox HVAC system. I typically have used the MERV 11 filters in the past and they seem to be more than sufficient for an average household. I went up to a MERV 16 for the summer, to see if it would help my fiancé’s allergies, but I think it was too hard on the system, so I ordered this to switch back down. I honestly don’t notice a big difference in air quality between the two. This one is easier for air to flow through, yet filters very well. I don’t have much dust in my house with a MERV 11.This replacement filter that I ordered is a 16x25x5. That is what my original was, and as long as I order those measurements, they seem to be the right fit. This one fit perfectly. The quality of the material and manufacturing seems to be similar to the original, as well. It’s a heavy-duty filter that should last at least six months.This filter is a much better value than buying the original brand name. It’s a lower cost while only needing to be changed twice a year. So, it’s an overall great choice for a replacement filter.
