At 15.4 inches, this hanging lantern has substantial visual presence on a front porch, covered patio, or entryway.I went with my back porch because it's the only place I had available without getting my hubby up in the attic to run new wires (or whatever is required when you're adding a light where one doesn't already exist).The misters that surround my back porch spray the light fixture but the heavy water ripple glass creates a gorgeous lighting pattern at night and does a fantastic job hiding the water spots.The matte black metal housing is supposed to be well-coated to resist rust and outdoor moisture, (I'll let you know in 6 months). The adjustable hanging chain accommodates both standard and sloped ceilings with ease. (I have slanted ceilings inside and I know the pain that comes with some light fixtures).This light was easy to install with straightforward instructions. I am very happy with this product and think you will be too.

Good light fixture, the build quality seems solid, not damaged or anything upon arrival. The glass does move around a bit in the housing, but seems totally normal. The light bulb itself is not included like it says in the description, while it does take a regular light bulb, highly recommend getting one like the one in the picture to complete the modern look. Those kind of bulbs do get pricey,but added to the cost of the fixture it's not much and still a good value. They have matching wall sconces available too which Im considering to complete the look outdoors.

I really like these new hanging pendent style lights. I just installed them on our porch and they look amazing. They were so easy to install too. I had them both installed in about 30 minutes. The lights are just over 15 inches long. They can hang down up to 72 inches. These lights can be installed on any ceiling too. Flat, sloped or vaulted. The ripple style glass gives them a great look too. They use regular E26 base bulbs. They make our home look much nicer and they provide a great amount of light.
