Got these installed today and they are super cool. Connects easily through Alexa and the SmartThings app, with loads of different colour combinations to play with.Really easy to install, managed all four of them within half an hour. Five stars.

Installation was incredibly simple, the lights are very bright, and they completely transformed the look of my kitchen.The Govee app is excellent. It gives you a huge variety of colors, scenes, schedules, brightness controls, and music synchronization. One of my favorite features is Music Mode. When I'm cooking and playing music, the lights react to the beat—it almost feels like I'm cooking in a nightclub. It's a lot of fun.(ChatGPT, my "comadre," and I are currently working on a complete Home Automation project for my house, so I've been trying many different smart devices. These lights have definitely earned a permanent place in that project.)The response time is fast, they're easy to control from my phone, and the lighting quality is outstanding.If you're looking for smart recessed lights that are easy to install, reliable, and packed with features, these are absolutely worth buying.10/10. Bought two of these - super easy to install if you have all the wiring. Color looks great and easily dimmable! High quality product and worth the money when it was on sale!! So if you are eyeing these wait till they go on sale again.

Absolutely wonderful! Govee’s app can be a bit buggy sometimes, but the lights themselves are great. The light quality is high and it makes my house feel so much brighter. I was slightly worried about the outer ring of the light looking odd, but on a white ceiling it is barely noticeable.My entire house runs on Govee bulbs and puck lights, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I absolutely love this recessed lighting kit. I got the 6-in pro version and they look absolutely amazing. They are much brighter than the previous recessed lights that I had installed. The colorful outer ring with programmable rgbic LEDs our real game changer. Adding it to different dream views with compatible sink centers adds another level of immersion if you have other products by Govee. The app is very versatile and allows you to incorporate these recessed lights into a variety of scenes and different syncing options. They are amazing quality. Very sturdy and durable materials were used as Govee tends to do. The white color temperatures can be set for your comfort level in need. You can also adjust from a warm 2700 all the way up to a very cool 6500 color temperature. The lights are very bright when at 100% which makes reading and Performing other tasks a lot easier. Extremely easy to mount and install using the provided Hardware. Just make sure that you have the correct type of recessed lighting cutouts and can receive the wing clips to hold the recessed lights firmly in the ceiling. Good value for the money for this quality and versatility of recessed lighting.

These Govee 6” recessed lights are highly customizable. I love being able to change the brightness and warmth, and the RGB options give my cabinets a totally different look.Install was easy and all hardware was included, but they are hardwired—so power must be shut off at the breaker. Attic access definitely helps since you have to remove the old light and wire these in.The only downside is the app. It works, but it’s not very intuitive, especially when trying to light just the outer ring instead of the whole fixture.Overall, great lights once you get them set up.Would give them 5 stars for sure if the app was easier to work with.

I am very satisfied with the performance of these 6-inch recessed lights. The installation was straightforward was completed without any trouble. Now, to be fair I have a bit of an electrical background so if you are not comfortable with adding to a home electrical circuit - or cutting holes in your ceiling - you'll want to call in a professional.We have a lot of GOVEE products in our home and these did not disappoint either. The GOVEE Mobile app is very easy to use once you try it out for a few minutes. When you need regular ceiling lighting, you can select any color temperature (Warm-white to Daylight) and brightness level. Then when you want to spice things up - you can select from countless static colors and patterns. The added bonus of the color rings around the outside of the light brings added fun to the patterns as they can operate independently of the main light itself.GOVEE builds a solid product at an affordable price. I would certainly recommend this manufacturer.
