When using a paint roller, it’s hard to reach corners and edges, while a brush often leaves visible brush marks. This brush complements a roller perfectly, making it much easier to get a clean finish in those areas. It also doesn’t shed bristles, and the overall quality is solid.

I got this because I have some dry wall repairs to make it the house. I don't normally have an issue with taping corners but I figured I would try it out and see if it would save some time. I dipped it into the mud and rolled it up and down the pan to get it to cover but it wasn't easy. Maybe its because I didn't have a lot of mud in the pan so I scooped it up with the roller. I tried to roll it into the corner but it seemed to pick up the mud when I rolled it back and forth. After a few more unsuccessful attempts, I decided to just go back to the knife to mud and tape the corners. Maybe if I had more mud or maybe if the mud was thinner, I would have had success but it just wasn't worth the time. I can see this maybe being good on bigger jobs but for small repairs this just wasn't it.

It helped to get in the corner and help in applying the compound.
