I could see how these wrenches would be handy working with pipes. They grip really well. Just make sure your pipe isn't too big. The first picture shows the wrench griping a drain pipe to a bathtub. The 12 inch wrench is barely large enough to get around the inch and a half pipe. Forget about being able to grab any of the fittings around that pipe. You will need something larger. I wanted to see how it would do with a standard bolt. It grips nicely and holds the bolt securely. Just note that the wrench only works in one direction. To move the bolt in the other direction you will have to reverse the wrench. I could see these as a good alternative to channel lock pliers. It also might be handy if you don't have a tall enough socket to loosen a bolt. What about the duty rating on these wrenches? I think for standard house repairs they should be fine. The jaws are pushed together by a spring and you can see what that looks like in the third picture. Strong enough to do the job, but it doesn't seem very heavy duty. If I was going to use these as a working professional, I would probably look elsewhere.

Very handy set of wrenches. The 3-Piece Pipe Wrench Set 6" 8" 10", Self-Adjusting Plumbers Wrench can cover a lot of situations where you need various wrench sizes.I wouldn't say they are super strong, they could probably break apart under a lot of sideways torque, but they hold well for most average jobs.Perfect for a home owner or to keep in took kit. They need to be put on in the proper direction to grab a nut or bolt for tightening. If put on the wrong way the sort of act as a ratchet. That can actually be a good thing when your tightening a nut then need to readjust the wrench. The part to grab to open the jaws on the larger size wrench can be a bit far to grab easily with your thumb, but that's to be expected. The smaller ones are easy to open with one hand.

This set is so handy to have around for all kinds of projects. The four different sizes give you plenty of options, and the self-locking design works really well for most things. You basically choose the appropriate size, place it around whatever you're working on, and the wrench grabs onto it and holds securely. The locking mechanism is really smart because it uses pressure and friction to grip the object instead of requiring you to constantly adjust the wrench.I also really like the included roll-up storage case. All four wrenches stay together, protected, and easy to find when you need them instead of disappearing into different corners of the toolbox.

"one size fits all" kind of tools tend to be underwhelming, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the OSTTE wrenches. The biting mechanism isn't loose like other tools I've seen, driven primarily by the leaf spring design and the all steel construction. I was expecting the black pieces to be plastic, but that's not the case, it's just painted steel. The four sizes give a nice range to handle pretty much any standard bolt/nut at home. The roll up Carry bag included seemed like a toss away at first, but I actually like how it keeps the tools separated, and has strong Velcro to keep it rolled. I would rather have them hanging on my workshop peg board, but this keeps them more protected.Strength doesn't seem to be a problem, but I have yet to tackle anything heavy duty. For the standard DIY stuff around the house, I can attest that these can absolutely replace that full set of wrenches though.

I really like these wrenches, they're easy to handle and feel good in the hand. The three different sizes 6 8 and 10 inch cover just about any size small job. The maximum on the 10 inch is probably three quarter inch Fit. The spring jaws ensure you have a tight fit on a pipe, nut or whatever you have it on. It also gives you the ability to do the ratchet type movements with the pipe wrench. These things can be used for so many applications and I'm glad I have mine.

This 3-piece wrench set comes in a storage roll inside a plain brown box - picture 1. Each wrench is clearly marked with length of the wrench which is odd since size difference is obvious. Handles are ergonomic and make purchase comfortable and secure. Gripping mechanism has a learning curve. It is best to use thumb notch (arrow, picture 2) to open up the jaw slightly to get on to the bolt/nut/pipe and use the same to release to make it "ratchet". Once locked in, self-tightening mechanism holds securely and you can hang on to the bolt, nut or pipe without fear of it slipping. A great addition to any tool chest.
