After I ordered outdoor solar string lights, I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find replacement bulbs, especially for one of my string lights that uses E17 bulbs. Apparently, most outdoor solar string lights use E12 bulbs, so finding a large pack of low-wattage replacement bulbs that were good quality and fairly priced turned out to be rather difficult. So I got really lucky when I saw this 25-pack available for review.The bulbs are really good quality. They are not glass, so they are very difficult to crack or shatter, even if you throw them onto concrete. That is great because I plan on leaving them outdoors all year, including through the winter. They are also the perfect warm white color that you usually see in string lights, and their low wattage makes them perfect for solar lighting because that way your panels have enough battery capacity to keep them lit throughout the night. They are dimmable as well.I am really glad I found these bulbs which are a perfect replacement for my solar string lights. They are very well made and completely shatterproof. Most importantly, they worked perfectly and I saw no flickering issues at all. Getting 25 of them for $29 is a great deal.

So when I was screwing them in they weren’t lighting. So what I found is if you remove the black rubber piece around the nipple they light up. If you look at the old light there’s no rubber! I’m talking about the bottom piece that’s screwed in the socket btw.
